Placing a loved one in any type of care facility is not easy. Finding a place for our dad that we trusted and were comfortable with, as well as being sure Dad was comfortable and safe as well was something my siblings and I were faced with. After losing our mother in 2025 we had to find a memory facility for our dad. We chose Windrose in Weymouth. There was fears, tears and anxiety at first but we were quickly able to ease all our concerns. Dad ended up finding comfort and safety in many of the aides and even some friendship with other residents. We visited often and participated in the family events as they presented themselves. Dad was treated with respect and dignity always. Any concern we had was addressed and together with the staff all was resolved and explained.<br>Dad lost his battle with dementia on August 2, 2026. He spent his last year at Windrose. He felt that was his home. He loved his aide and searched her out whenever she was out of his sight. I have only good things to say about Windrose and the entire staff. The building was always clean and very welcoming. The security was never anything I worried about.<br>As I said, placing your loved one at any type of facility is not easy. If I had to do it again I would definitely use Windrose. I would tell anyone who asked to check it out for their loved one. I’m already missing the staff and residents that I’ve grown to be friendly with. I’ll be visiting for sure!<br>Thank you Windrose for the great care you showed my dad in his final days.

My experience with this facility was heartbreaking, and I would never recommend it to anyone looking for a safe, caring place for a loved one.<br><br>My grandmother was treated with a lack of compassion and consistency. The staff seemed uncaring, and there was constant turnover, making it difficult to know who was responsible for her care. Management also seemed to change every few months, which only added to the instability.<br><br>Before we moved my grandmother in, we were promised activities, attentive care, and a welcoming environment. Unfortunately, our experience was completely different once they had our payment. Once the paperwork was signed and payment was made, it felt like our concerns no longer mattered. We often found the nursing staff to be disorganized, inconsistent, and lacking the knowledge needed to provide the level of care we expected. Communication between staff members seemed scattered, which made us worry about the quality and consistency of my grandmother's care. Looking back, we feel the sales presentation gave us expectations that the facility simply did not meet.<br><br>During her stay, my grandmother suffered multiple bed bug bites, which was extremely upsetting. We also observed roaches, overflowing trash in the back of the property, and hallways that frequently smelled like urine. In my opinion, these conditions created an unhealthy and undignified environment for residents.<br><br>Based on what my family experienced, I believe this facility should be thoroughly investigated for its cleanliness and quality of care. No family should have to worry about whether their loved one is being treated with dignity and respect.<br><br>If you truly love your family member and want them to receive compassionate, consistent care, I would strongly encourage you to look elsewhere. Our experience was devastating, and I would never trust this facility with someone I love.

From the very first phone call through move-in day, the team at Windrose at Weymouth went above and beyond for my family. The compassion, patience, understanding, and genuine care shown by every staff member made one of the most difficult and emotional times in our lives feel manageable.<br><br>My father had been in the hospital for nearly three months and was in need of memory care support. As anyone going through a situation like this knows, the stress, uncertainty, and emotional exhaustion can feel overwhelming. From my very first conversation with Windrose, I immediately felt a sense of comfort and reassurance that had been missing for a long time.<br><br>What truly amazed me was how quickly and smoothly everything came together. I reached back out on a Friday, and by Monday, my father was moved in. After months of carrying the weight of trying to figure everything out, I finally felt like I could breathe again. The relief I felt knowing he was safe, cared for, and surrounded by people who genuinely understood his needs is something I cannot put into words.<br><br>Every person we encountered treated my father with dignity, kindness, patience, and respect. They also showed incredible compassion toward our entire family, taking the time to answer questions, provide reassurance, and make us feel supported every step of the way. You can truly tell that the people who work there genuinely care about the residents and the families trusting them with their loved ones.<br><br>Making the decision to place a parent into memory care is never easy, but Windrose made the transition far less frightening and heartbreaking than I ever imagined it would be. I will forever be grateful for the care and support they have given my father and my family.<br><br>I cannot recommend Windrose enough to anyone searching for compassionate, high-quality memory care for a loved one.

Windrose Weymouth is an incredible community. They truly care about all of their residents and incorporate as many fun activities and gatherings as possible. From the moment you open the doors you truly get the feeling of home and a strong sense of community.
