Scary experience when on discharge day, the nurse Regina, bathing my mother missed handle her and dislocated her hip. Went on to not recognize what happened, dressed her, sat her on a wheel chair and gave her tramadol for pain. It was not until I arrived at 11:30am on discharge day to pick up my mom that since she was crying I realized her hip was dislocated. I called the staff, told them what I saw and they all disregard my claim until they spent 30 minutes trying to get hold of the doctor. My mother had to be taken to the hospital in an ambulance. She had to undergo procedures to put the hip in place. She had be readmitted at the hospital with complications since liquid formed around her hip due to the trauma she experienced from Nurse Regina leaving her sitting down for so long. My mom spent 5 days at the hospital and is now at another Rehab Center in Bethesda starting from zero to recuperate. Her self confidence is shattered, her hip is fragile and weak and needs to go through PT and OP for an undetermined time at this point. I left a message for The administrator Rachael, I have asked Doctor Yaya, Nursing Director to please have the administrator call me and nothing. At this point or the Administrator Rachael does not know that this happened or if she knows she does not care nor thinks it is worth her time to contact our family. Do not send your love one to this place. Their nurse staff needs training and the administrator needs to show more ownership on what is going on at her facility.

We want to express our deepest gratitude to the entire team at Asbury Methodist Village Wilson Healthcare Center Rehabilitation Center. During an incredibly difficult time, the staff provided consistent compassion, professionalism, and respect, which made a meaningful difference for our family. We would like to give special recognition to Allison, the social worker, who went above and beyond for our family at the very end when we were struggling the most. Her support, advocacy, and compassion during such a stressful and emotional time meant more than words can express. She stepped in when we needed help the most, and we are incredibly grateful for her dedication and care. Benjamin was absolutely exceptional. He went above and beyond in caring for my father, especially with cleaning him up and getting him ready for bed. His attentiveness, compassion, and respect meant so much to our family, and we are deeply grateful for the care he provided. Henry and Irene were extraordinary. Their dedication, calm professionalism, and deep knowledge of medications made a huge difference in my father’s care. They were always thorough, kind, and reassuring, giving our family tremendous comfort and confidence. Vera was consistently knowledgeable, attentive, and supportive. Her experience and leadership were evident and greatly appreciated. Georgina deserves extra special recognition. Like Benjamin, she helped care for my father throughout the day, including cleaning him up during the messiest times. She was truly an angel, always patient, kind, and attentive, providing outstanding support with his CNA care. We would also like to sincerely thank the entire physical therapy and occupational therapy teams. There were far too many incredible therapists and meaningful days of care to name everyone individually. From Noah who is super smart and intuitive and to Amari to Izzy, every therapist was exceptional and made a lasting impact. Overall, every interaction reflected a high level of care and dedication. Our family is very thankful to the entire team at Asbury Methodist Village Wilson Healthcare Center Rehabilitation Center for the kindness, respect, and quality care they provided to our father and to us.

My 99-year-old mother suffering from Covid was released from the hospital for a short stay at the Wilson Health Care Center in early September. We were really glad to have this facility nearby, which made traveling back and forth easy and convenient. My mother has taken swim classes at Asbury for 25 years, so it is a familiar campus. After a bit of a slowdown due to staffing over the Labor Day weekend, I thought the the multi-disciplinary staff (doctor, social worker, nurses, dietician, PT therapist, etc.) was very responsive to her needs. But she said the very best thing is the homemade soups! She raved about them, along with all the meals at Asbury. Thank you Asbury for your care of my mother.

This is by far the best place to go for recovery after getting a major surgery operation done. My mother had sarcoma cancer in her leg and needed the tumor surgically removed, we were referred to the Wilson Healthcare Center in Asbury Gaithersburg Maryland to help with her recovery the experience was incredible. This is obviously a very difficult time for our family so I am ecstatic to have had such a wonderful time at the 301 Wilson Healthcare. The facility was very beautiful and felt very cozy and lively, the staff were so pleasant to be around and it really felt like a second home away from home for my mom. I believe that they offered an excellent opportunity for my mother to regain the mobility in her legs with the fitness physical therapy program as well as gain back her independence and self esteem. The whole building was bright and clean and the staff members were all way beyond five stars. From the moment you entered the building the staff were friendly and ready to assist us. Even the food was terrific, my mother felt like she was at a vacation resort! I absolutely recommend this location to anyone who's looking for a health care center.

To the nursing staff, physical therapy & occupational staff, and activities staff- Thank you very much for a successful rehabilitation for my knee replacement surgery. The support for my stay was thorough; it gave me a lot of knowledge and help as well as nurturing care and instruction. I would recommend the Wilson Health Care Center to anyone in need of a rehab stay. Loved the crosswords! Even the food was delicious! The crab cake was a special treat!
