The decision to place a loved one in a nursing facility is never easy. You want to do what's best for them, but it carries a certain amount of guilt that you're not able to care for them yourself. When I reached out to this facility, the person I spoke with was Ms. Tamiko Wilcox. She went through the process, of placement and what needed to be done on my end. She was very transparent, and made me feel content that my decision was in the best interest of my loved one. Her knowledge and expertise was greatly appreciated. My rating of this facility is a 5. I have seen my loved one drastically improve, physically and mentally. I am briefed on doctor visits and upcoming appointments. I'm kept in the loop on all aspects of my loved one's care. Avir of Kilgore is top-notch, and Ms. Wilcox is an asset to their facility.
