About Willamette View Health Center

Willamette View Health Center in Milwaukie, Oregon offers assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing care across multiple residential settings on its campus. The community serves residents at varying levels of independence, from those needing minimal support to those requiring 24-hour nursing care and assistance with all daily activities.

Assisted living residents receive medication management, laundry service, daily bedmaking, and personalized help with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, and personal grooming. The community also offers supported apartment living for residents who are independent in many activities but benefit from scheduled assistance. For those requiring more comprehensive support, smaller home-like environments provide full-service care with higher staffing levels, sometimes resulting in increased independence for residents.

The community's state-endorsed Memory Care unit creates a secure, home-like environment with specialized services and long-term nursing care. Residents receive individual attention from nurses and caregivers, and the community features an all-season outdoor Harmony Garden providing a safe and therapeutic natural setting. A full-time Life Enrichment program offers activities tailored to individual interests and needs.

The Medicare-certified Skilled Nursing Facility comprises seven private rooms, each with an individual bathroom, wireless internet access, and an emergency call system. In-patient physical, speech, and occupational therapies are available onsite. This level of care is available after hospital stays, for rehabilitative therapy services, and for episodic illness care on a short-term basis.

All residential areas feature 24-hour staffing and nursing services. The community is structured as a Life Plan Community, or continuing care retirement community, offering multiple levels of long-term care to residents as their needs change.

I had use the restroom really bad. The guy said no public restrooms. But I asked him is there any place around here that’s a business? He said no nothing for miles away. I just wish he will let me use the bathroom to go pee. I was walking and needed help. Sucks kindness wasn’t for him
