I have had two family members inpatient for both respite and rehab. All of my experiences with this facility have been positive. An incredibly attentive staff of nurses and caregivers as well as therapists to help recover after an illness, injury or surgery. Wonderful admin staff as well. Always on hand to answer questions and to help in any way they can. The facility may not be the newest, but it is always clean, the therapy department is well equipped and the residents and patients are always amazingly well cared for. Can't thank Monica, Patti, Debbie, Cara, Kim and Emily enough for all the help and support.

White Oak Charleston was a savior to me. I am only 56 but I had a bad fall and needed physical therapy and occupational therapy. White Oak provided excellent services for these, but it was also a nursing home. I am a disabled vet so the va sent me here for treatment. The pt/ot staff was amazing, all if them, but my two were outstanding. The medical staff were all polite, very nice, and extremely professional. I've learned to be quiet and watch and listen and I walked that place many times and never heard a bad word spoken to a resident. They have an activities director that had things for everyone to do from parties to Bible studies. The administrators were approachable and extremely helpful. The main administrator i already considered a friend by the third day, and as a bonus he played football in college. So, I highly recommend White Oak Charleston for you or your loved ones to rehabilitate or rest.
