Wharton's Rehab, loved the staff, nursing care went above and beyond to assist rehab for full knee replacement, physical therapy was very good. Meals nice. They try to accommodate best they can. Thank you the whole staff loved you all!

They knew my father died and decided to charge him for a month postmortem stating he had a few articles of clothing left behind and therefore technically was still occupying his room in spirit. My aunt had a stay there and needed to be turned r/t Parkinson's disease. At the time of her passing there, her buttocks area had literally rotted off and emitted a foul smell. Staff never brushed my dad's teeth per dentist the 30 days he was there. My dad was continent however staff refused to take him to potty (he had Alzheimer's dz). He prevailed though because he pulled down his pants and dropped a deuce at the dinner table. For this they concluded he had behaviors, but we know it's Wharton's management that have the behaviors. CNAs critically short-staffed. If I wasn't grieving his passing I would have obtained a lawyer to bring to light the awful treatment my dad received while paying 100% private pay. They also charged full price out of pocket for all his meds despite having Medicare. No matter how badly you are struggling you can always do better than Wharton. No matter how much you feel your loved one will benefit from the 24 hr care and understanding they need for dementia, they will do nothing but rush them around and treat them like they are a problem. No place for old people.

I have a friend that lives at Wharton Nursing Home. I just left there very upset. There was 2 people to take care of all the requirements needed for 32 residents. There is no way that can be done at the level of care they require and are paying for. Don't know what Management is doing to solve this problem but someone needs to show up for a surprise, unannounced inspection and talk to the people who work at Wharton House 1 & 2. There is only 4 staff members who are still there from 2018 when my friend went there. The staff has always gone above and beyond to take care of the residents. I appreciate and respect the Nurses and CNA's who work very hard to do their job.

Wonderful facility very caring staff, great therapists, good food, private room they really make the patient a priority like staying at the Ritz
