We built in the Gardens just over 3 years ago and it was the best decision we made. We built what we want and the process was both flexible and in tune with our needs. Highly recommend anyone looking to move to a 4 season place, with the most friendly neighbors and a place to keep your RV close by.

We moved to the Gardens in March 2017 from St Petersburg, FL. We briefly looked at communities in Northern Georgia and North Carolina previously. A telephone call to Lois prompted our initial visit. We were fortunate to purchase a "move-in-ready" house that is "just the right size" for us. Aside from the practical benefits of living in Eastern Tennessee and in the Gardens, we feel that the primary reason that we are very happy here is the wonderful neighbors. We like living here and plan to stay and participate in community affairs. When we travel we always hand out Gardens brochures and invite others to contact Lois for a visit.

We first found The Gardens RV Village in 2014 through our friends who already lived here. After visiting one time we knew we were interested, after the second visit, we knew we wanted to live here. Construction began on our home in late 2016, we moved in during June of 2017, and we've never looked back. The building process was enjoyable, thanks to Bo, Greg and their crews at Bowman Construction. We felt the sense of this community even while we were building and living on "Homeless Hill". This is a unique community where you know your neighbors, you enjoy sharing your common interest of rv'ing and seeing this magnificent country, and where neighbors help neighbors. This sense of community continues to grow as more homes are built and families move into The Gardens.

Homeless Hill is a great concept that makes you immediately feel like you’re part of The Gardens Community. It’s not only convenient and close to where your new home is being built, it is also FREE. It cost us absolutely nothing to stay there for 6 to 7 months. This was a nice benefit financially and it gave us the opportunity to make many new friends both on “the hill” as well as those who were already full time residents. A big thanks goes to the Wilson family for making Homeless Hill possible as well as to Bob and Lois Twigg who helped make our stay there a great time.

My husband and I wanted to downsize, travel and have less upkeep of a home/yard. The Gardens met all our criteria for a great place to live, easy access to the Interstate, and four seasons. What exceeded our expectations was the the feeling of belonging to a community filled with some really great folks who have become dear friends. Every day we reaffirm “this was the best decision we could have made”. Come for a visit. Bet you will stay for a lifetime.
