the staff who work TOO hard and don't have any new help. Westmont needs to hire new qualified staff to ease the hard work that the regular staff does.

I would make a request that the common areas are cleaned more frequently, specifically vacuuming the carpeted areas and hallways where on the floors where residents reside. Also, the house keeping for residents could be a bit more thorough. Otherwise, the staff has been accommodating and friendly.

I’d steer clear of this place. It’s random who you’ll get staff-wise. Some staff are very nice and friendly, others are patronizing, rude and arrogant with terrible customer service. We had better experiences with the workers than one of the leaders in particular who rudely interfered and interrupted an important medical meeting with our family doctor for a non-emergency.<br><br>If you look at their reviews on different sites, failure to bathe, give medications correctly, etc are seen there on reviews. We’ve experienced some of these issues as well.<br><br>Also, families have reported on other ratings there appears to be understaffing resulting in resident neglect and unfulfilled paid for services and care. It seems some of the staff doing caregiving either have very little experience or are very poorly trained in elder or disabled care while a few are great from our perspective. Families have had to hire outside care as well as pay Westmont, for what? Great place if you don’t care about spending lots of money for poor/lacking customer service. A good residential home may be better tbh.<br><br>*Update 11/15/22*<br>As anyone can see by the response below, instead of actually spending energy and effort to work towards improving conditions here, the management has no intention of doing so and would rather level hostile attacks against the person leveling critique.<br><br>Two letters have been sent out by RESIDENTS that in summary say they do not feel they are receiving the IMPLIED services they were believed to be originally offered:<br><br>*First letter below<br><br>Just another heads up, there appears to be people padding the reviews here who do NOT have a family member living here. Please read and see for yourselves. This would likely make the overall rating much worse than it already is.

My husband was in memory care (Compass Rose) 1/25 - 7/25.Because of the exit doors functioning, he learned to push his way out through the alarms.The sign on the door says "keep pushing, alarm will sound". I was told he could only stay if I hired a 24 hour aide to watch him which was financially impossible. The staff and management turn over is way too frequent.They are all over worked and under staffed. The returning of phone call, texts and emails was not timely. He was not getting the morning and evening stand by care I was charged. Communication with the staff and directors was most frustrating. They lost his hearing aids and special water pillow. The one star is for the great activity program they have, in house physical therapy and pool.

The team here is incredibly professional, attentive, and dedicated to providing the best care for their residents. It's clear that the staff genuinely values their residents’ well-being, and it’s a pleasure to collaborate with them. The facility is always well-maintained, and they’re very proactive when it comes to both resident care and ensuring smooth operations. Working with such a well-organized and compassionate team makes all the difference. Big shoutout to the RSD - Rachel, the Sales Team - Kami & Tammy, & all the staff members! Highly recommend them to anyone seeking quality care for their loved ones!
