My husband was recently here and the facility is really nice. The PT department and people in there are simply amazing. They kept him focused and he came home a week early. Jhovanny, Tevin, and Marcella were such great staff and so patient with him. They have a good team over there. My only ding is the food was horrible and like shoe leather or burnt. Otherwise I recommend them highly.

I am very impressed with this Rehab. This is the 4th one he's been in and the other 3 was not even close to being good. In This reha they are very attentive, caring, loving, informative, amazing team. I'm very grateful for the results. I highly recommend this Rehab if you want good care.

The facility and the staff are wonderful , unfortunately when I was there for almost 3 weeks the facility had only been open 2 weeks and IMHO they were way understaffed and all the RN and CNA were young and inexperienced , I required IV Antibiotics that had to be administered every 8hrs by an RN so I got to meet quit a few , I do need to mention 1 young RN Colin was his name he constantly rose above everyone else. I would stay here again without hesitation I'm sure all the bugs and kinks have been worked out, Do not repeat DO NOT stay at VICTORIA POST ACUTE located in El Cajon , most of the staff and especially the director Lilly are rude and very unprofessional .

My mom and our family loved this place. Everyone was very nice, and very professional. My mom stayed at Stanford Court in Santee in the past, and they were a disaster. They were always very understaffed, and the patients suffered because of it. The exact opposite is true at Grossmont Post Acute. Anytime my mom needed anything, they were there relatively quick. There were always very nice to my mom, and to the family when we needed something. One afternoon I just walked around and watched the staff talking with patients, helping them, feeding them, etc. and the staff was genuinely caring with every interaction I saw. And anytime my mom had a health issue like her blood sugar dropping low, they would always call me to keep me updated. I can't say enough positive things about Grossmont Post Acute Care. We are very appreciative that they took such good care of our mom.

Six weeks ago I fell, which resulted in a compound fracture of my ankle. After surgery and a few days in the hospital, I was transfered to Grossmont Acute Care. Since it would be 8-10 weeks before I could put weight on my broken ankle, I needed a lot of care and intense Physical Therapy. Of course I was scared, but soon I was reassured and challenged to work past my fears and do the work. I have nothing but positive things to say about the entire staff at this facility. I have grown to love them and consider them my angels. Always respectful, helpful, encouraging, funny, well trained, informative, and extremely skilled in each of their positions on staff. They turned a very difficult time in my life into a joyful and learning experience. I have grown as a person from this experience and would recommend this facility for rehab and PT. I hope I'm never in a situation where I need this again, but if I do, this will be my first choice.
