There are not enough words to express my appreciation to Rhonda Miller and her staff. The quality of care they gave my PawPaw was exceptional even on the days where he was stubborn. My family was treated with respect, with compassion and with the willingness to help him and my family's needs was amazing. Thank you - for taking such good care of my PawPaw. Y'all are the true heros of Healthcare.

I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the staff at Westminster Health Center. My mother experienced a fall in August fracturing her ankle leaving her immobile, and from the moment of admission, the team made the entire process seamless. Cookie, who works in the front office, was the first person I met. She checked on my mother every single day and always ensured her needs were met. Her compassion and work ethic are truly unmatched. If the healthcare industry had more individuals like Mrs. Cookie, it would be a much better place. No matter how many times my family called, she remained patient, kind, and professional whether setting appointments, coordinating transportation, or ensuring staff were present to assist. Nurse Keisha, thank you for always going above and beyond for my mother. Your care and dedication did not go unnoticed. Mrs. Lavern, CNA, thank you for the tender, loving care you provided daily. You had such a tremendous impact on my mother’s healing process, and we will never forget you. If you’re searching for a rehabilitation center for your loved one, I highly recommend Westminster Health Center. The therapy team is outstanding my mother walked out the center at discharge, and the nursing staff truly embodies what compassionate care should look like! Thank you, The Monlyn Family!

I am so thankful that I live here at Westminster Oaks. Downsizing from a house to a one-bedroom apartment is challenging but very freeing. I have a lot less to worry about and to take care of. I love my one-bedroom apartment at Chason Gardens with a large garden window and a screen hallway (which I call my porch). The grounds are beautiful and something in bloom most of the year and I don't have to take care of it. I enjoy so many things including Monday Night Music and the entertainment brought here by the Cultural Foundation plus all the holiday parties. The food here is excellent most of the time. Sometimes it's exceptional and other times just not something I prefer but there are many choices, and I don't have to shop, cook or clean. I do enjoy making breakfast and an occasional meal in my kitchen. The Fitness Center has so many programs, I've tried many and the staff are always helpful and engaging. They even hold classes in our apartment building thanks to Meredith and Emily. The speakers and classes have something for everyone and often include a field trip. Buses to the Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra and the University Music Association and allowed many of us to enjoy local music without the need to drive and park usually at night. I've lived here two and a half years and have meet so many wonderful people, both residence and staff. Although, I haven't needed any medical support, I'm fully aware that they are there to help when needed. The constant communication through meetings, publications and email keep us informed and up to date. I commend all the staff for their efforts in making Westminster Oaks a beautiful and wonderful place to live.

Although able to live independently, I chose to move to Westminster Oaks while relatively young because of their reputation (with my Mom & all her friends), plus all the different levels of care they could provide if you need it "down the road." Smart Move! Less than 2 years later, I needed hip surgery; and afterward, I was able to stay at their on-site, 24-hour Health Care Center. Their super nice doctors, nurses, & staff provided the medication, meals, and other assistance I needed the 1st few weeks. They also had tremendous rehab staff who guided me through that inpatient recovery, plus another 2 months of outpatient rehab. Westminster Oaks also has assisted living and memory care facilities, as well as in-home nursing options, if/when you need them. And after 40 years of ownership, the freedom from home/yard maintenance issues is really nice. But I think the best part has been the sense of community and all the new friends I've made since moving here.

I have had an outstanding experience with the Westminster Oaks Fitness group beginning when I moved in Sept 1, 2024. At that time, I realized that I needed to improve my physical condition. The Fitness staff, facilities and classes have all contributed to the very positive results and benefits that I am continuing to experience. The Fitness staff is made up of great and friendly people and is especially caring, understanding, professional and are always responsive with suggestions to any question that I raise. They also clearly understand and respond to the particular needs of an aged group of participants, helping me (and I think all others) feel "on top of the world." An added benefit of participating in Westminster Oaks Fitness activities is that I continue to meet and enjoy other residents participating in the classes.
