What Families Think

Reviews of Seven Hills paint two very different pictures: several families praise attentive nursing staff, a caring therapy team, and engaged leadership, while other reviewers report serious concerns about cleanliness, food quality, and staff conduct. The facility handles both rehab and long-term skilled nursing care, and outcomes seem to vary depending on the wing and staff on duty.

  • Therapy (PT/OT) team praised repeatedly
  • Specific staff and leadership singled out for praise
  • Facility often described as smelling clean on arrival
  • Private and semi-private room options available

The Bad

  • Multiple reports of cleanliness problems, including pests and peeling paint
  • Several complaints about poor food quality or inconsistent meal service

Staff is absolutely fabulous. They truly care about you and it shows in all they do! Cannot say enough wonderful things about the leadership, Jeff, Nicole, Marie and Katoria. All of the staff are great, but a big thank you to the exceptional nurse Kim on Wing C. She made each day even more special. Rehab staff, nurses, CNAs, kitchen staff, wound care nurses, drivers, and receptionist, all contribute to the excellent care. Big thanks to Rhonda for our weekly Tuesday appointment. Thank you for all of the support towards healing!!!

I saw some of the reviews before my wife came here and to be honest they scared me but she's only been here a little while and everything is great!!! The lady in charge (Lisa) and the head nurse came to TMH and talked to me and my wife, just talking to them eased our minds of any worries. All the nursing staff have been great, better than anywhere we've been. And in the last year we've been to about 4 different rehab facilities. So don't pay attention to the bad reviews as far as I'm concerned, the people that wrote them apparently have not seen bad and that is coming from someone who has!!! I would definitely recommend Seven Hills!!!

I am extremely disappointed with the conditions and overall management at Seven Hills. The cleanliness of the facility is unacceptable — it does not meet the standard of care families expect when placing their loved ones in a nursing home. The food served to residents appears low quality and poorly prepared. It honestly looks unappetizing and not appropriate for individuals who rely on proper nutrition for their health and recovery. More concerning is the level of care. Residents do not consistently appear to receive the attention and dignity they deserve. I personally witnessed a unit manager on A Wing speaking to CNAs in a demeaning and unprofessional manner. Bullying staff creates a toxic work environment, and when staff morale is low, resident care inevitably suffers. Idk if it’s safe to do any name dropping but the current A WING UNIT MANAGER MRS B is very miserable Families trust facilities like this with vulnerable loved ones. Management needs to seriously reevaluate cleanliness standards, food quality, leadership behavior, and overall patient care. Until meaningful changes are made, I would strongly encourage families to thoroughly research before making placement decisions.

What a GREAT experience this has been! My mom recently admitted to the rehab unit here, from the time you walk in the staff is always smiling and greeting you. Every time I come in the place is always smelling clean and fresh. The nurses and CNAs are very attentive to the residents. The therapy team is awesome. Any time I stop by therapy team is always eager to tell me about mom’s progress. I am so glad we chose Seven Hills!

Horrible place!!!! Nurses are angry and obnoxious to patients. Paint peeling on walls, and equipment is in need of replacing. Roaches and huge black hairy spiders found in bathroom shared by 4 adults. A/V call button was hanging from the electrical cords in the shower. Toilet was leaking water around base and you stepped in it when going pee. Food service was the worst of all. The policy of 7hill told to me by food service director and head nurse was if you order a substitute meal you will get it. Also once the main meal is served then you can order a snack meal immediately. However this is a lie!!! I asked for a grilled cheese and soup and the CNA told me she didn’t know if she is allowed so she called down the hall to a nurse or CNA who was in charge and this person loudly said NO. She’ll eat what she got. This is not a fast food place. So I didn’t eat that night. Also the administration tried to stop me from reading and copying the State inspection reports. These inspection reports are to be read by anyone!!! Wow, they had a lot of violations. Theses inspection reports only thing I can say is the PT/OT staff and Mary from CNA were wonderful. Made me smile a little in this prison.
