I am extremely appalled by Dr. Mukesh Ahluwalia’s level of professionalism. The way he speaks to his patients is unacceptable. During my visit, I was not even given the opportunity to fully explain my situation, which made the experience frustrating and dismissive. Patient care should involve listening, understanding, and respect—none of which I felt during this interaction. I understand that this may be a teaching environment, but I sincerely hope that the student present does not adopt the same approach. Patients deserve patience, compassion, and the ability to be heard. Based on this experience, I would not return or recommend this provider.

I had an excellent experience at The West Suburban Wound Clinic and felt truly cared for from start to finish. The staff was very warm, welcoming, professional, and efficient, making the check-in process smooth and stress-free. The medical team, Dr. Pryor,Marlen,Melody, Claudia and Nurse Brandon, took the time to listen to my concerns, explained everything clearly, and made sure I was comfortable with my treatment plan. What stood out most was the level of compassion and attention to detail—everyone I encountered treated me with respect and genuine kindness. The facility was clean, well-organized, and ran on time, which I really appreciated. I’m grateful for the high-quality care I received and would highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for knowledgeable providers and a supportive healthcare experience

My mother was admitted today. I called the main number for the hospital three times and each time the phone rang 20 times within aan hour period. I lived in Oak Park for over 20 years and stopped going to West Suburban 20 years ago. It was bad then and has gotten worse. Because my mother call the EMT's from the Chicago Fire Department, West Suburban was the only hospital that she could go to. Very disappointed that I could not get through. My mother is 97 yrs old and I didn't want to wake her to get information. My nephew drove to the hospital to get the information we needed. You People need to CKECK yourselves.....

I was in the ER with pain and a fever. I arrived at 9 AM and didn't see a doctor until 3 PM, only to be told I needed an endoscopy and that they couldn't perform it there. I was transferred to another hospital by ambulance with septic shock. Furthermore, you practically have to beg Cathy from financial aid to see you, and she's always angry. She needs to be more professional and empathetic. There's no point in that hospital being open if it lacks the necessary resources and professional staff, and it's a dirty place.

Be careful taking your kids to this hospital. My son was rushed from school after breaking his finger and I asked a simple question. They were already looking at me, upside my head as if I broke his finger myself while I was at work forgot to clock out and even left my coat to go and pick up my kid and meet them at the hospital. Long story short the nurse was very rude and when I didn’t wanna associate with her anymore. She was upset. She filed a DCFS case on me that was obviously close right away, but it’s just sad how these nurses are so nasty at this hospital and then you’ll be in trouble for something. I didn’t even happen. There’s no telling what she told those people, but I was already feeling it like she was accusing me of doing this to my son mind you he was at school. She very disgusting. It’s a shame. My baby will happen to for me just because somebody was being rude and I requested not to talk to you. I don’t have to good luck with this place.
