This place is HORRIBLE‼️‼️<br>One staff member on at night.<br>No front desk staff- a passer by let me in.<br>My mother was only at this facility for 6 days. She passed away there from negligence. They had a power outage and she was on oxygen and no one NEVER restarted her oxygen machine. 😡<br><br>DO NOT send your LOVE to this facility ——this place should be shut down immediately

Where do I start? The first full day my father was at Wayne Rehab my father’s roommate told a staff member that water was on the floor of their bathroom. I witnessed the employee wipe the water off of the bathroom floor using the patient’s bath towel using his foot, and then kick the towel under the sink. Later a respiratory therapist came in to ask my father some health questions. I wondered how a respiratory therapist would not know how to pronounce the word pneumonia. She used the word ammonia!! Yes, ammonia not pneumonia!! How am I supposed to trust he was in good hands when she didn’t even know the correct name of a serious respiratory infection.<br>The following morning my father had to remind the staff to give him his IV medication. Later that night, after 11pm, a staff member woke him up and asked him if they gave him his other daily oral medication. Yikes!<br>That same day I arrived to find my father still in a hospital gown and an over saturated diaper soaked with urine. He was in that diaper for over 24hrs. I rang the buzzer at 4:22 PM and nobody came to answer the call until 5:03. The staff member claimed he was busy.<br>While I visited, no one came to check on either patient in this room. I was there 4 hrs Sunday and 3 hrs Monday. Completely unacceptable. They didn’t ask if he needed water, or anything.<br>The facility was not well kept. Gloves and other trash on the floor, and overall dirty conditions. The shower was missing the handle. Something was all over the window shade. This place isn’t up to the standard of a nursing and rehabilitation facility. The staff is overwhelmed, untrained,<br>and generally unable to provide adequate care.
