My experience at Waverly Inn was extraordinary, and I will be forever grateful for the care my husband received there. I have been through memory care with other family members, and nothing compares to this team. From the moment we arrived, I felt a sense of relief knowing he was somewhere he would be treated with genuine compassion, dignity, and respect.

What stood out most was the consistency of the care. Every single staff member—not just some, but all—treated him with patience, kindness, and warmth. The building was always clean, calm, and welcoming, but more importantly, the people made it feel safe and humane during an otherwise devastating time.

They went above and beyond to accommodate his dietary needs and took the time to prepare meals he truly enjoyed for as long as possible. Even small things mattered to them, and that meant everything to me.

As his disease progressed and he entered the final stage, their care became even more meaningful. When he stopped eating and drinking, they did not pull away or become clinical. They stayed present. They treated him gently and with dignity every single day, making sure he was comfortable. They also supported me in ways I cannot fully put into words.

Before Waverly Inn, I felt completely alone in managing my husband with younger-onset dementia (diagnosed before age 65). Because of Waverly, I will have fond memories of our final time together, and I was given the gift of peace. That is something I will carry with me forever.

If you are searching for a place where your loved one will truly be cared for with dignity and compassion, this is it.
