I read the other reviews. I toured the facility 2x in 2026. I have observed that the staff and front desk staff now greet us warmly. We visited 6 assisted living facilities. I was on the waiting list for Summit Place. However, I was turned away due to not being a good fit because of my allergies to mold. (I had chosen Summit Place due to the large, heated swimming pool). So, I did a 2nd tour at The Waters of Eden Prairie. Staff was welcoming and had an opening, a RENOVATED one bedroom with a washer/dryer. The apartment is gorgeous, clean, and inviting. The LVP flooring in the kitchen and bathroom is what I dreamed about. I felt truly cared for. (BTW, if accepted at The Waters of Eden Prairie, I can obtain a pool and gym membership for $70 monthly at Summit Place). I am looking forward to the many outings and activities at The Waters of Eden Prairie. Such as the pet therapy visits, hand massages, manicures, bingo, drumming exercises, visits by the River Valley Dance Academy, music, movies, book club, happy hour, and art classes.

I am a new caregiver for one of your residents. Your property is gorgeous. The staff were very helpful! The walkways around the property are very nice. I loved the painted rocks on the back wall. I loved the music performance today with the lady singing and playing guitar. It was great seeing the resident singing along! The whole place was very clean and inviting! Looking forward to my next visit next Wednesday afternoon!

AVOID this memory care facility! Our family had a very upsetting experience and I want other families to be aware. Our mother had been living independently before moving here and was understandably confused during the transition. Unfortunately, the staff showed little compassion or willingness to help her adjust. After only eight days, they called 911 and sent her to the ER for “medication adjustments,” without allowing enough time for her new medication regimen to take effect. Our mother then spent 2 weeks in the ER because The Waters refused to take her back, even though hospital staff said after a few days that her medications were appropriate. The head nurse was extremely unprofessional and uncaring and did not even go to the hospital to reassess her. We later learned that our mother had previously escaped the facility and managed to get outside in below-zero temperatures, even though the unit is supposed to be locked and secure. This incident was never communicated to us when it occurred and was not documented in her file. We were also told that there were not enough medications to make her “manageable” enough for them to accept her back unless we hired a private nurse 24/7. This was extremely difficult to accept from a facility that should have experience caring for dementia patients. After move-in the monthly rate was unexpectedly increased by $3,000 with no prior warning. Then, after being told she could not return, we were forced to quickly find another memory care facility and move her again, which was incredibly disruptive. Our experience with The Waters in Eden Prairie Memory Care was extremely disappointing from start to finish. Since moving our mother to another memory care facility, we have had no issues.

I spent a number of hours with my uncle. During the visit I was absolutely impressed by the amount of personal attention I saw staff giving to each resident. Making sure they were taken care of and smiling. I could not have asked for a better facility to be in charge of helping my uncle and being there to assist him. It was like being involved in a large family. Thank you., Gabe iserman
