Waters Edge is a great place for my mother, the living spaces are very large, the place is well kept up, the staff, in particular nursing staff are all great people. I really appreciated how bright and sunny the place is, the decorating for different seasons and holidays, lots of activities, and overall a warm and friendly place for a loved one to live.

My Dad was extremely reluctant to move out of his home into assisted living when the time came. I toured more than 7 facility's prior to landing on Waters Edge Bradenton. Jamie took all the time I needed to show me around, then did it again a 2nd time to show my daughter around. She is so kind and helpful answered all our questions and there were many!!. We ultimately chose to bring him there partly due to Jamie and the fact that they had little apartments that felt more like home than a facility. No exaggeration it was the best decision I could have ever made for him, my only regret... I didn't move him in sooner. Caroline and the ENTIRE staff treated him as if he was their family. He thought the nurses were all sweet on him as he called it !! Unfortunately he passed 2 months after moving there but that short time his quality of life was amplified x 10. He was very very happy there, which in turn made us happy. Caroline kept me informed about any and everything, she continued to check in even while he was in the hospital. I knew we mattered. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this place and most importantly this staff. The care they gave him was amazing. If you face the reality that its time to transition your loved one to Assisted living you wont find a better place.
We will forever be grateful to everyone at Watersedge Bradenton.
Ps
The food is good too! Served restaurant style feels kind of like a night out !!

Lynn B

My stepmom was originally admitted to the Independent Living at Waters Edge. After about a year, we moved her to the ALF. Caroline, the DON, became very involved with my stepmom and we worked together to determine the best plan of care for her. Caroline helped encourage her to get out of her apartment to come down to the dining room for meals and go to some of the activities. I am thankful for all the individuals at the facility that helped take care of my stepmom.

We recently moved into the villas and are incredibly impressed with Executive Director Rebecca, who consistently goes above and beyond. She treats all residents like family, which is one of the primary reasons we chose Water's Edge over other senior living communities. As the only community in the area with villas, it offered us a seamless transition from our previous home.

Rebecca is highly responsive to any concerns and made our move effortless. We are also impressed with the team’s dedication to addressing our needs and providing resources for our transition. This team is invaluable, and we have great trust in Rebecca—which was essential since we moved into our villa sight unseen.

A significant added value is the chaplaincy program. Chaplain Ed is readily available and leads wonderful chapel services. We are pleased that faith is such an integral part of life at Water's Edge; this was a major factor in our decision, especially since other properties we toured do not integrate their chaplains as effectively. We are excited to be part of the Water's Edge family and would highly encourage anyone considering a move to a senior living community to choose Water's Edge!

Update: We have wonderful neighbors and so many activities. Staff is great! We are always amazed at Rebecca the Executive Director. She is competent, passionate for the residents..Great problem solver and wonderful leader! professional and is ALWAYS available for the residents! She exemplifies the meaning above and beyond! Taylor who is Activities coordinator for Assisted living is Awesome! Gary who is Transportation Manager treats us as family! Carlos is the new Maintenance manager and he is always responsive for any needs. New chef Chris and culinary supervisor Ron are open for any suggestions and are very proactive with residents.
We appreciate all the staff and believe Water's Edgewas the best choice out of all the other senior living communities. Chaplain Ed is always there and is truly compassionate and available for the residents and staff.
We enjoy the villas very much...most senior communities do not offer villas and that was one of the reasons we chose Waters Edge.

Our family will always be grateful for the exceptional care my father received at Water's Edge Memory Care.

My dad passed away this morning, and as we reflect on his final days, we find great comfort in knowing he was surrounded by compassionate, dedicated professionals who treated him with dignity, kindness, and genuine love.

A special thank you to Caroline, the Director of Nursing, and Andrea, the Nurse Practitioner. Their communication with our family was always thoughtful, honest, and reassuring. They kept us informed every step of the way, answered our questions with patience and compassion, and made an incredibly difficult journey a little easier to bear.

The entire Memory Care team treated my father with respect and tenderness, and we always felt confident that he was safe, comfortable, and truly cared for. That peace of mind is an incredible gift to a family facing the challenges of dementia.

Thank you to everyone at Water's Edge for the kindness you showed my dad and for supporting our family during one of the hardest times in our lives.
