My parents are residents at Waltonwood Lead Mine. I can't put into words how kind, and patient, and gracious the staff have been. With amazing facilities and smiles everywhere, this place is head and shoulders above their last assisted living facility. It's so great knowing that they're being cared for.

We moved my mom here in April and we could not be happier. The apartment and common areas are beautiful and the people that work there make it feel like home. Everyone has been so helpful, caring and responsive. The food is delicious and the staff have put a lot of thought into the many daily activities that they offer the residents. We are so thankful to have found such a wonderful community.

Excellent experience thus far. Mom lived independently in her home for over 30 years. It was time for her to transition to assisted living. Needless to say she was not thrilled of this new adventure. We started at another Waltonwood location in memory care as it was the only option with availability. That was not a good fit for mom. She’s fiercely independent and a tough cookie to transition. She is still having a hard time adjusting and this is week three.<br><br>However, Waltonwood Lead Mine is the perfect fit for us. Yes, it’s beautiful, good location and well staffed. The staff, collectively and individually are amazing and truly what makes this place stand out!<br><br>The maintenance gentleman who helped with the apartment cable TV and the refrigerators ice maker, the med techs, the care team, the restaurant & food team, shuttle manager, concierge desk folks, and management team. They all work closely together for each residents unique needs. Everyone knows each residents specific situation and pitches in to assist them where they are, when they need it and to provide immediate support and comfort. The only other experience I encounter with this level of service is on a cruise. To be honest, I could never do what they do every day.<br><br>The best compliment that I know to share. Asked if she’s happy to be there, mom will say, “my son made me be here, but I love the staff, the food is excellent and I have a big apartment in a beautiful place.”<br><br>As you can tell, I recommend Waltonwood LEAD MINE ROAD.

Waltonwood Lead Mine is a special place to live. Everyone is welcoming and are there to help with whatever is needed. Nothing is too small. We feel fortunate to have found such an incredible home for my mom to thrive.
