Visiting Angels refers caregivers for all levels of assistance, from respite care of a few hours per week to full-time or overnight care. Caregivers are available 24/7/365, including mornings, mid-day, evenings, and throughout the night. The referral process begins with a free in-home consultation with a Referral Specialist to understand individual needs. Clients then select from a group of pre-screened, thoroughly vetted caregivers with appropriate training and experience, meeting and getting to know potential caregivers before care begins.

All referred caregivers have completed a comprehensive vetting process following State of Florida requirements, including background screenings at local, state, and national levels. Certified Nursing Assistants and Home Health Aides in the referral network hold current Florida Board of Nursing licenses and clearances. Caregivers assist clients with a variety of daily living tasks and personal care needs.

Clients retain complete control over their care arrangements. They determine caregiver schedules, wake times, bathing schedules, meal times, and all other aspects of care. Clients can customize requirements without altering their routine, accept or reject caregiver referrals, and work with chosen caregivers to develop individualized care plans. Visiting Angels remains available to refer additional caregivers at any time during the arrangement.
