Just here to visit but I was really impressed with the atmosphere and the very friendly entry. There is lots of amenities for the tenants, they even have a pool table.

Choosing to downsize from a large home,which was a process, but definitely worth it and simplify our lives sooner than later has been the best decision my husband and I have made! With nearing his retirement in less than two years brought us to looking into options that lead us to checking out the cooperative lifestyle here at the Vintage of Ankeny.<br><br>After touring multiple times to see different floor plans offered here at Vintage and doing the comparables of owning our home or even a smaller home, condo or townhome and seeing the value in this type of ownership made it even more desirable along with all the amenities and great people that we have met here, the feeling of community,shared ownership and the cooperative lifestyle. No longer need to think about all the upkeep of a large home and frees us up for more enjoyable things!<br><br>Being right across from the Prairie Trails "District" area and so close to the library,shopping,restaurants and entertainment is a real plus.<br><br>Our daughter's are also both very glad that we chose to do this sooner than later!

Living in a cooperative has surpassed our expectations, especially at this unprecedented time. There is an extra level of comfort, knowing that we are going through this together. Should anyone in our community need anything, another co-op member is happy to help...after all, we're like family! While we are respecting the protections in place for COVID-19, we have found a way to enjoy each other's company with our LIFELONG Learning Center. Members share their expertise, talents and gifts with inhouse presentations. We are looking forward to reaching out to community with educational events once restrictions are lifted this summer 2021!
