I am adding a second part to my original review. My mother passed 12/19/25 at the Villas of Hollybrook. The staff there helped to care for her at the end of her life like she was their mom. They were so caring and supportive of her as well as me. They took on the duties of assisting the hospice care team but to be honest they cared for her better than the hospice team did. My mother was very resistant to going to assisted living but once she was there she loved all the staff and the facility! I did not think her time there would be so short but it helped make the last six months of her life safe, happy and fulfilled! Don't waste your time looking at the Sheridan, The Windsor etc. These people truly care!!!<br><br>The Villas Of Holly brook Sarasota is AMAZING!!!! Most importantly the care givers are THE BEST!! The care givers are the heartbeat of this facility. They truly care about my mom and her well being and happiness. My mom can be a bit grumpy and difficult at times but every care giver treats my mom like their own family member and I believe truly cares about her as a person. They are amazing with her!! The facility is immaculate! The food is delicious! The nurse and doctor here are spot on with their assessments and care. It is a very difficult decision to find the right place for a family member when they need help. I always feel like my mom is safe, well cared for and I never worry about her anymore with the wonderful staff at this facility. This is the place for your family member that needs this type of care and assistance. I have seen every facility in the area. Don't waste anymore time.... this is the place you are looking for!!!
