As someone who works in the senior living industry and regularly partners with communities across OC and surrounding counties, I can confidently say that the team at Villagio at Capriana is the leader in Memory Care and Bre and her care team are a big reason why. It's the people who make it special, not just how nice it is and the feeling you get when you are there.
Memory care requires a special blend of clinical expertise, patience, and genuine compassion, and Bre’s team demonstrates all three every day. Their attention to detail, communication with families, and ability to meet residents where they are in their journey is truly impressive. You can see the intentionality in how they create a safe, engaging, and dignified environment for residents living with memory loss.
What I appreciate most as a professional in this field is the consistency of the care team. The staff are attentive, kind, and clearly invested in the well-being of the residents they serve. That kind of culture doesn’t happen by accident, it reflects strong leadership and a team that truly cares.
Villagio at Capriana is fortunate to have Bre and her team leading the way in memory care. Families looking for a community where their loved one will be treated with dignity, compassion, and expertise should feel very confident here.
Care staff is top-notch! They make it easy to communicate for loved ones at Villagio. There is so much care coming out of the care staff, my family has been duly impressed with the degree and frequency, and love for residents. A+!
"My mother has been at Villagio for over three years, and our experience has been wonderful. The staff members are consistently polite, respectful, and genuinely caring. I love that they keep her active with daily activities that keep her engaged and social.
A special shout-out to the new director, Bri—her communication is top-notch. She always responds quickly to my texts and calls, which gives our family such peace of mind. I highly recommend Villagio to anyone looking for a caring environment for their loved one!"
We moved our mom over to Villagio after a one year stay at Capriana assisted living. It was a very hard decision to put her in memory care, but with the help from their knowledgeable and caring staff, we felt reassured that it was the right place for her.
She has been there for over two years and we feel she is in a comfortable, safe and clean environment . The staff is caring, supportive and importantly, approachable.
They do many daily games, crafts and exercises to keep the residents engaged- at the level they are able to participate. They also bring in various musicians and performers to keep them alert and entertained!
Putting your loved one into memory care is a very difficult and personal choice - where trust is of the upmost importance. Everyone has to find the right fit for their family, for us it has been at Villagio.
My precious mom was a resident of Villagio. No one desires to need a memory care facility and when it’s time to pick one it can be overwhelming. My mom was safe, well cared for, and treated with dignity. We had 24 hour a day access to our mom, and that was important to us. We enjoyed getting to know the staff, we felt welcomed, and appreciation was expressed to us for our involvement in our Mom’s difficult memory care stage of life. Her room and bathroom were always clean. Every day had opportunities for enrichment. My mom loved the music, guest singers, and the seasonal & holiday food celebrations. We loved being able to bring our family dog to visit her. My mom’s cognitive changes happened fairly quickly and so her needs changed, sometimes daily. We experienced good access and communication with supervisors and our Mom’s care staff. The administrator introduced me to Senior Doc, which allowed medical care to come to my mom when it became too difficult to transport her. Every resident’s needs were different, and at the same time, the staff were aware of what comforted each resident. There were realities of being in the stage of memory care that can’t be changed, but we were blessed to work with the administrator, Bre, who helped us face and adapt to those changes. I appreciated her honest and respectfully given insights to help my family navigate this difficult stage of life. My sweet mama is with Jesus and I will forever be grateful for the kindness my family was shown for the three days we stayed by her side as she worked her way to heaven.
Before picking Villagio we toured many memory care facilities. Each facility broke down their costs differently and it was confusing and sometimes misleading. Once we were able to figure out the different systems of charging, the cost of our favorite facilities were the same. There was one facility that was a little bit less, but they had restricted visitation hours, and that would not work for our family that needed flexibility.
If I had another parent that had memory care needs, we would choose Villagio again.
Bre’s love and care for my mom will be a memory I cherish.
