I have had nothing but a great experience at Venice Health and Rehab. Everyone has treated me well. The therapy was proactive and beneficial. Todd and Emily were great! They made sure I got my therapy daily. I enjoyed being able to go outside in the courtyards. I highly recommend this place.

The staff are willing to help and the nurses really got to know the patients and their needs. The admissions director made sure to check on us regularly. A draw back is that the building and furniture is old and beat up but it is all functional. The Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy was conducted at a pace that was appropriate. Like everywhere there were some people that were stars and some that weren’t. We were lucky to meet more stars. ⭐️ There are also outside courtyard and community room that are nice.

Venice Health and Rehabilitation Center provided my beloved family member with high quality care throughout his rehab stay. The nursing staff, PT and OT staff , CNA’s , social service dept., housekeeping ALL were attentive to the needs of both our family member and our extended family. Every request was met with a willing staff member response. The level of professionalism is evident on all levels. I would choose Venice Rehab again!

I am very happy with the care my husband is receiving here. Although the facility is older, it has a good design and the two men in charge of maintaining the building, John and Dylan, do an excellent job of fixing and refurbishing things. Not only do they keep the building up to par, they interact well with the residents and staff, treating them kindly and with respect. The nurses and aids are hard-working and despite their difficult tasks, remain kind and communicative. Nan, and her food service employees, do an excellent job of serving tasty and nutritious food. If I want to join my husband for a meal, they are always willing to provide me with an extra plate so I can sit and eat with him in the dining room. Yesterday, as I ate a delicious Thanksgiving turkey dinner with my husband, I tried to swallow some crispy part of the turkey and started to choke and couldn't breathe. Michael, the nurse helping in the dining room, came immediately to my rescue by implementing the Heimlich maneuver. I am so grateful for his attentiveness and life-saving help! In summary, there is an overall atmosphere of attentiveness and caring that is evident in nearly every department. A special thanks to nurses Kathleen, Deb, and Toni. A warm smile to John and Dylan. Lorna always gives a welcoming greeting upon entering the building. These employees have all made a difficult transition in our lives more bearable.
