A great community to live in! You can get as involved as you want here. Many activities, great concerts and lectures, and the food is good. Beautiful nature views from our house with lots of wildlife.

If you want your elder loved ones that live independently to be taken care of, dont let them live here! Their lack of basic knowledge of what elders needi is ridiculous. From letting an 80 something person go days without heat, to coming to set mouse traps and totally ignoring the dead one on the floor, to completely blowing someone off, dismissing them as difficult. And the change in management is a joke. If you love someone that is considering moving there, please reconsider!

Porter Hills is a wonderful place to retire and I was all the amenities of everyday life and a boss to take you to and from the store.
