A Legacy of Care and Compassion in West Michigan

Clark was founded in 1906 through a generous donation by Melvin and Emily Clark who wanted to provide a permanent residence to retired Methodist ministers. Over the years we've grown and evolved while continuing to deliver excellent living options, compassionate care and meaningful opportunities to our residents.

Today, Clark is an ecumenical community, welcoming people from all walks of life and faith backgrounds. We are a nonprofit Life Plan Community and home to nearly 500 residents. We employ over 400 people committed to enriching the lives of our residents.

Your loved one will stay in one of our furnished suites for a short period of time and receive excellent care from our experienced, caring staff. They will also enjoy Clark’s activities and amenities throughout their stay. Respite Care is perfect for caregivers who need some time to recharge.
