Food is edible but not much flavor. Salads consist of lettuce and occassionally will have tomatoes. They have trouble keeping an activities director and have not gone on more than 2 field trips this year. Occasionally will take residents to Walmart. There is not alot going on there to keep residents engaged. Kent Place staffing has been like a revolving door for the last 2 years.

I’m leaving a 1 star review not because this community is bad, but because of all these fake account reviews discrediting the hard work Kent place staff puts forth for our family members.<br>These reviews don’t even have proper spelling to be taken seriously and should be disregarded.<br>My father has been at Kent for a few years and his care has been nothing short of amazing and he continues to receive care above our expectations. Kent place managers truly care about my loved one and any review saying otherwise must be a disgruntled previous employee.<br>I’ve personally heard staff members talk poorly about upper management and spread false gossip that was directly discussed to my father.<br>If you want your loved one to be cared for with love, compassion, and treated like their own family, Kent place is a great community for you. If you want to stay away from med techs and care staff from filling your loved one’s ears with gossip and personal grudges, then choose a different community.<br>5 stars to the management team for providing love to all our family members and 1 star to the staff who can’t get over themselves and leave the gossip at home.

I want to start off by saying treating STAFF POORLY IS UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNACCEPTABLE there’s always room for everyone to GROW. NO ONE IS BETTER THEN THE NEXT.THE BEHAVIORS OF OFFICE STAFF AND OR ANYONE NEEDS TO BE REPORTED RIGHT AWAY. NO MATTER HOW ITS LOOKED @ it abuse correct/ HARASSMENT-NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL. What needs to be understood is our workers care for our loved ones and that’s what makes these COMPANIES WHAT THEY ARE. this is a HOME FOR OUR PEOPLE they deserve better then what’s going on @kent place. I will say the Activities gal is amazing and goes up and beyond and that shows the care and compassionate she brings and there are some other workers that do as well and help where help is needed and that’s a TEAM.so at the end of this I hope higher staff STOP AND REFLECT ABOUT HOW THEY CARRY THERE SELVES And how they communicate and how others get treated buy them this is a home for our LOVED ONES.

I have been to this facility many times over the last 6 months, watching the morale and cheery staff diminish. There are a few long term staff members that stay for the residents but you can tell they are truly there for the residents. Overhearing yelling, swearing and things from the ED office while walking through the front door is such an off putting experience for this kind of environment. A place that should feel like a home for your loved ones. A place that no longer has joy, activities, or brightness. Now when you walk through the door you just feel tension. I have also tried to get in contact with the nurse, Ryan multiple times and that is like pulling teeth. Rarely in the building and rarely has a straight answer for anything when you do have a chance to speak with him. We are currently looking for other options which makes us sad but for the price you pay, you expect some sort of activity that actually happens, a considerate administration that doesn’t skimp on things and some consistency in caring, reliable staff.

My mother lived at Kent Place for a little over 2 years and we both got to know the staff quite well. Lots of big hearts in the nurse, Ryan, CNAs & med techs, Shaunda, Kaylynn, Johnson (& others too!), Office Manager, Katelyn. Easy to tell they are there because they genuinely care for the residents. The staff shows so much compassion and has a great sense of humor.<br>The building is 1 story and square-shaped so walking on rainy days indoors is easy and impossible to get lost! Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for an assisted living residence.
