I can’t say enough good things about this place and the people who work here. My Aunt Wanda was a resident here for 3 years, and they truly took amazing care of her every step of the way. Every month we had a care meeting where they went over everything — from her health to her overall happiness and well-being. They always kept us informed and would call anytime they saw a concern or potential issue coming up. What meant the most to our family was knowing she could be treated onsite and have all of her needs taken care of without constantly being moved around. The staff genuinely cared about her, and it showed in the way they treated her every day. The comfort and peace of mind I had knowing she was there honestly helped me sleep better at night. I will always be grateful for the love, compassion, and professionalism they showed Aunt Wanda and our family.

Sandy in the business office was very helpful answering the questions I had. She was warm and friendly and calmed my nerves when I called asking questions. She deserves a raise and is a great example of how customer service should be!

I’ve had both of my parents at this facility, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the care they’ve received. The nursing staff is truly exceptional - attentive, compassionate, and consistently going above and beyond. What I appreciate most is the communication - they are always keeping me informed. If you are looking for a place for your loved ones, this is truly a great place.

When my dad was diagnosed with delirium following a hip replacement surgery, I had no clue what to do. Once the hospital said he was going to be released, I had to figure out where he was going and in a hurry. I’m really glad I found Townsend. Everyone knew his name and treated him with respect. The nurses and his care were top notch. I had daily questions on insurance procedures and how everything worked. Some of the most wonderful people I’ve ever met put on a smile and answered my questions and helped me to understand. For that, I will always have a deep sense of gratitude.

We are so grateful for the wonderful care my mother receives at Townsend. The staff is fantastic and goes above and beyond to keep our family informed and involved. They are always communicative about her health and include us in her care decisions. The facility is consistently clean and has a lovely atmosphere. It’s comforting to know she is safe and well cared for. During our last visit, one of the residents was playing the piano after dinner for everyone. It was lovely!
