Would not recommend this nursing home it dirty and nasty, they don't clean the rooms and the aids throw the used attents in the trash can right beside the patient's bed, the aids and the nurses are the rudest i have ever met and don't care about the patient's at all! And it loud and its stinks!

Mom received the best care while in rehab. Every nurse, nurses tech, administration, dietary, and housekeeping was excellent to her. Thank you all so much for the professional care she received while she was at The Timbers of Jasper.

Update July 2025: My mother's pressure wounds on her feet are completely healed and she is now able to go back to her assisted living apartment! I can confidently say that if it wasn't for the amazing care she received at The Timbers of Jasper for the past 8 months this would never have been possible! Even her doctor at Memorial Wound Care is amazed at the turnaround in her condition. He also attributes a huge part of her healing success to the nurses and staff at The Timbers. If mom ever comes to the point of needing complicated rehab or skilled nursing again I will certainly move her back to The Timbers for the best care in our area! November 2024: I moved my 89 year old mother to The Timbers from a neighboring facility to improve her quality of care. I only wish I would have chosen The Timbers the first time around for my mother's rehab after a major surgery. Mom moved to the memory care Cottage at The Timbers with severe pressure wounds to her feet and moderate to advanced dementia. Her foot injuries were a result of factory-like care (or lack thereof) at the previous facility. I can't say enough about The Timbers management and staff in regards to the professional and compassionate level of care mom is receiving there. They really know how to help and care for residents with dementia and comorbidities. The transfer of knowledge and handoff between shifts is so important and so well done. I've been there several times when the nurses were changing shifts and there was great communication going on. I've seen nursing assistants go room to room updating the new shift on resident care concerns or changes. All are pleasant and amazing caregivers. The Timbers has a strong management team that is very willing to work with you to ensure the best care plan possible to meet the needs of residents and their families. The Timbers also does a wonderful job with transportation, laundry, housekeeping and activities. The facility may not be as new and sprawling as some of the other options in the area, but it is cheery and comfortable, especially in the Cottage. Mom may possibly experience end-of-life at The Timbers and I'm very grateful we found a place we can trust with the precious time she has left.
