2012 my aunt was at this facility. It was horrible what she & my family & I experienced for 7year. My aunt died there. 2026 My mom was admitted there because it was convenient for my sister. My mom arrive January 2026 her second fall there resulted in a total hip replacement. Today my mom is sitting in her wheelchair 16 hours a day. No one is authorized to move her except her physical therapist that comes whenever she wants. Totally defensive 91 year old. Her 3rd fall there was days after her totally hip replacement surgery. My lawyer filed physical/mental abuse charges against Denise Thisse owner of 7 Rehabilitation facilities in New England. Her family owned businesses had been doing this since the 1980s. No more of this behavior will be tolerated by the Thisse family . Mia 🙏 May 20, 2026

I spent one month after I had back surgery. The nurses, the certified nurse assistants, the recreational staff. social worker, the cleaning staff, kitchen staff, evening orderlies and the other staff members I may have missed, All were so kind, compassionate, caring and responsive to every request I made. Besides all the work they do, they always had time to laugh with you and most of all they were so encouraging about my progress. They took my pain away with their warmth and listening ways. I told my children if I ever had to go somewhere to live because I was no longer capable of caring for myself, The Thomas Upham House would be the perfect place for me.
