The Front Office ladies and all the CNA’s are the BEST in the area in my opinion. My Mom is in her 90’s and having trouble but the staff has stepped up and made her feel better.<br>Thank you Wyndmoor and all the Staff!

I had to stay here for awhile, two years to be exact after a traumatic incident that occurred several years ago. They had some nice staff here and the lady that has been given run of the place has a good personality. I was something they they were not used to. Younger, higher functioning intellectually, but yet at the same time with a very real tough problem with a mental disorder known as OCD. I also have very bad insomnia that stemmed off from damage that was sustained to my anterior pituitary gland from being overmedicated on benzodiazepines when I was younger. This caused this gland to no longer to be able to naturally secrete a hormone that is responsible for putting a person into a deep sleep at night. Not my fault here. Well so I had to stop working because of this, as insomnia makes OCD worse, and OCD makes interpersonal relationships often difficult. This can carry over in being able to hold a job. Some of them here didn't seem to make that connection namely a nurse practioner contracted out to see patients there, and an activities director. I was going to a counselor for awhile who used to be a nurse, and who has lived all over the country and her exact words were that this city, speaking of Terre Haute has some of the "worst mental health care in the nation." At one point I thought I'd be able to maintain a friendship with this NP after I moved out, as we had some things in common. But I was disappointed that she never seemed to make the connection in my case where the blame and at least part of the responsibility as to where I wound up in life should be directed. I hope this review don't mess me up in anyway but Terre Haute has some real problems in its health care system that needs to be corrected.
