We have had such a positive experience with The Woodleigh of Baton Rouge. From the very beginning, the entire team has been incredibly welcoming, attentive, and genuinely compassionate. This is such an emotional and overwhelming season of life for our family, and having a staff that leads with both professionalism and kindness has made all the difference. I want to especially recognize the management team—Reed has been nothing short of exceptional. He is accommodating, quick to respond, and consistently kind in every interaction. His communication is prompt and thoughtful, and he goes above and beyond to make sure every question is answered and every concern is addressed. That level of care and attentiveness is something you don’t come across often. The administration and admissions team have also been outstanding. Their efficiency and responsiveness—especially when it comes to navigating financial questions and helping us understand available options—has been incredibly reassuring. They have made a complicated process feel much more manageable, and their willingness to help every step of the way has not gone unnoticed. Overall, the level of customer service, empathy, and professionalism we’ve experienced has been truly exceptional. We are so grateful for the support, guidance, and care they’ve shown our family during this time.

On December 2, we had a very special guest—Santa Claus himself! Reed Duncan, Director of Marketing at Woodleigh graciously stepped into the role, and what an amazing and awesome person he is. With the patience of Job, Reed brought smiles to every face as our members lined up to take pictures with Santa. He even went out to the end of the driveway to wave at passing cars, spreading holiday cheer beyond our walls. The joy was contagious—our members will cherish these memories, and many have already shared their photos with their children. For a moment, we were all like kids again, waiting for Santa on Christmas morning. Thanks again Reed and Merry Christmas to you and the Staff at Woodleigh.

My dad was at the Woodleigh recently for rehabilitation for about a month. The staff were friendly and professional, and the facility was very clean. The nurses, therapists, and staff took great care of him. I would highly recommend the Woodleigh of BR.

We couldn’t be more grateful for the care my dad has received at Woodleigh Nursing Home. From the moment he arrived, the staff made him feel welcome, respected, and safe. The nurses and caregivers are attentive, compassionate, and truly go above and beyond to ensure his comfort and well-being every day. It gives our family such peace of mind knowing that he is in such capable hands. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and has a warm, home-like feel. A heartfelt thank you to everyone at Woodleigh for treating our dad like family. Your kindness means the world to us.
