I absolutely love the Social Service Coordinator! To have someone like Ms. White be so personable, caring, intuitive, and loving care for loved one, is simply a blessing.

The workers are phenomenal Environment not sanitize, theres roaches in the facility, not clean. My air conditioning went out at about 6. They don't have maintenance on call or didn't assist me with any options. They said, they didn't have stand up fans. Thank God it wasn't too hot that night.

I have a great deal a gratitude for the staff and residents of The Guest House in Baton Rouge. From the second I spoke with Angel in admissions I felt a peace about the decisions being made. The time my dad spent here, on hospice, brought joy to him in his final months of life. He made friends after years of being lonely. The staff was compassionate and FUNNY which brought so much light. His CNAs were absolutely amazing to him. The wound care team had their work cut out for them as skin cancer took over my dads face. They never made him feel embarrassed or like caring for him was a problem. He found a little community here where he left he belonged. The cats and birds in the courtyard made it feel like home. Unfortunately, we moved him to another Planation Management facility and I will forever regret that decision. A bigger fancier building certainly does not mean better, or even equal, care.

Absolutely horrible place to leave a loved one. I found out the hard way. After my father received poor care here I decided to have him moved. He mysteriously died the night before he was to be transferred to the new facility. That was no coincidence but almost impossible to prove because of my father's health. DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE IF YOU LOVE THEM. IF THEY ARE THERE ALREADY YOU HAD BETTER MAKE A LOT OF SUPRISE VISITS.
