My husband, who was receiving Hospice care, after a diagnosis of cancer, a rare, aggressive tumor with metastasis was admitted here from a nearby hospital ER. He passed away within hours after his admission. The staff who was caring for him called me frequently and kept me updated on his condition.

I'm a veteran of the United States army and I've had 5 surgeries in 14 months. I was in fort Sanders hospital for 5 days and they had my pain under control I come here they discontinued 1 of my pain meds the other I was taken every 4 hours they changed to every 6 I'm in pain a lot of pain andy blood pressure is sky high now..... If your a veteran complain to the va bc what they are doing to us isn't right... My surgeon called up here and gave them the med list he wanted me on but they blew him off and now I'm in the worse shape of my life.... Not to mention my mental health provider is thinking about dropping me as patient bc I signed contract with him and he didn't want anything changed but they did it anyways they don't care about our quality of life bc why change things that have been proven affective They did all this without talking to me and honestly I'm not apart of my treatment team... Veterans plz show this to the va bc I'm in trouble my pains a 10 and nobody's listening to me or my doctors

This nursing home is. One of the worst I've been in. I went to see a family friend a the brief she had on was oh wait she didn't. They were out, please tell me how a nursing is OUT of depends? I went and bought her some so that she had plenty. When I asked about it, the 2 CNA's were super sweet about the situation, nurses not so much. The nurse i spoke with said they was working on it. She acted like she didn't have ti.e to talk to me and was very rude and unprofessional. If you dont like your job and can't take time to explain the situation to me, I thinks it's time to find a new career.

Woodland Post Acute is a wonderful nursing home facility with a caring and hard-working staff that ensures the safety and well being of its patients. This location outshines comparable options in the area and my experience with the management has been nothing but positive.
