I wanted to give a shout out to Natasha, a social worker for NHC! She has been a lifesaver, she is kind and compassionate, always willing to help! She is absolutely in the right field, she knows exactly how to relate to all circumstances regarding patients! Not only does she assist the families in any capacity needed, she puts herself out there, making sure that she speaks to the individuals in their care, whether it's just a smile, acknowledging a patient with questions or lending an ear. She makes sure they're as active as they need to be, given their own personal circumstances. Educating them about special activities, as well as the various services offered! Always with a personal interest and obvious sincerity! Thank you so much Natasha!!!

As an outside provider coming in, I’ve never felt anything less than respect from each person I’ve encountered! The whole nursing team is absolutely amazing, Brittany, Tamera, Kristina and Chrystal are all good leaders, and aren’t afraid to help out when asked! Their floor nurses are equally amazing! Each department honestly. I couldn’t say enough good things about this facility and the people that work there!

Exceptional Care and Compassionate Staff My 90-year-old mother recently spent three weeks at NHC Oak Ridge for rehabilitation following a hospital stay, and I have nothing but good things to say about the experience. From the moment she arrived, the staff made her feel welcome, respected, and genuinely cared for. It was clear that everyone — from the nurses and aides to the physical and occupational therapists — was fully invested in her comfort and recovery. The medical care was attentive and responsive. Any concerns were addressed promptly, and communication with family was excellent. I always felt informed and confident in the care she was receiving. The rehab team did an outstanding job. They were professional, encouraging, and incredibly patient, helping her regain strength and mobility without pushing her beyond what was safe. The facility was clean, organized, and well maintained. Her room was always tidy, and staff frequently checked in without being asked, making sure she was comfortable and had everything she needed. Even the food deserves a mention — it was consistently good, and the dietary staff were friendly and accommodating. They worked with her preferences and made sure she enjoyed her meals, which really helped her overall mood and well-being. What stood out the most was the kindness and respect shown to my mother. At 90 years old, being treated with dignity and compassion makes all the difference, and the team at NHC Oak Ridge truly delivered that every single day. I’m grateful for the care she received and would wholeheartedly recommend NHC Oak Ridge to anyone in need of short- or long-term rehabilitation.

My mother has been at this rehab for a few weeks after a fall broke her hip. The entire staff, Dietary, Nursing, Social Workers, Front Desk, PT and OT were all amazing but I Want to recognize the CNA's they were amazing very attentive and on point. Yes at times my mom had to wait a while so they could finish with another patient. However when my mom was scared and out of place because she has never had to experience this before they were the ones that were there to comfort her when my sister or I was not. She was always clean and dry and the facility was always clean and smelled good. All the workers up and down the hall always greeted us and showed us that we were welcome there, the entire team always included me in all her care. Everything was laid out just perfectly. If I ever need service again for my mother or one of my clients with my company I will always refer them to NHC Oak Ridge.

After reading the negative reviews, it’s definitely time for a positive one. Recently my father was admitted to NHC for some rehab and therapy. I can’t say enough good things about this facility. They ALL treated him with the very best care. The therapists were top notch and worked with him to help build him up and get him home. The nursing staff were always pleasant anytime we asked anything of them. I also observed their behaviors towards other patients and it was nothing but kindness and good, quality care in my opinion. Everything was explained to our family on what to expect and what the goals for my father was. Of course, no family wants to think of their loved one being there (unfortunately some drop them off and never look back 😭). I would recommend this facility for any family that may need short or long term care. This is not our first time having a family member here either as 3 years ago, we also had an Aunt that had to be admitted for rehab. Although it was during COVID time, and visitors were restricted, their care was still the very best and communication was very prompt and responsive. Keep up the good work NHC, you have our support and recommendation. Thanks to each and every one of you that had a hand in my father’s care!
