This facility is well-maintained and has wonderful staff that sincerely care about their residents. The longevity of staff speaks volumes about their knowledge of the residents and family atmosphere. Thankful to bring my loved one here.

do not recommend The Shores for your loved one. The level of care and organization is extremely inconsistent, and it often feels chaotic. Out of all the staff, I only encountered two nurses who truly seemed to care—Venus and one other whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch. Administration is highly disorganized, and my concerns were not taken seriously until the situation escalated and I had to push hard to be heard. By that point, my father had developed sepsis, was severely dehydrated, UTI, and ended up in the ICU. That should never happen with attentive, proactive care. Overall, the attention to patient care is lacking, and it appears they are understaffed for the size of the facility, which has over 300 beds. This directly impacts the quality and timeliness of care patients receive. While some administrators, including Tanya and Marina, present themselves as caring, my experience did not reflect genuine follow-through or support. This was an incredibly difficult experience, and I would strongly caution others when considering this facility.

Our mom has only been at this facility a short time, however ever since the first day everyone has been so attentive and our mom has been very well taken care of. The place is very clean every time we go to visit and when we talk to any of the nurses they all know exactly who our mom is and can explain in great detail how she’s doing what the plan is moving forward etc..We are all very pleased with the care our mom is receiving and it helps ease our concerns. Thank you! 😊

It's been 12 years since I was there visiting my mom and unfortunately she passed in that place I wouldn't recommend that place not even to my worst enemy. Unfortunately I didn't have any say so on where my mom would spend the rest of her days at. At the time my dad was still with us and what and he said went and also because they were alone, I live LA my brother in Sacramento my dad couldn't take care of her by himself. Well to make this story short that is not worth putting anyone in its a torture when you go in there everyday and you watch your family member deteriorate in front of just in 24 hours. After my mom passed I realized that she went to a better place. And I'll stop here because I don't want to get nasty.

Heartfelt thanks to the CNA’s, nurses, and therapists for making a challenging transition from home and hospital much easier. I highly recommend The Shores to anyone seeking high-quality, person-centered nursing and therapy care.
