I just spent a week visiting my aunt who is a resident here. I was there most days from 9 until 5:30. The facility is squeaky clean and the staff is very attentive and caring with all the residents. Sarah did an excellent job of providing activities for the residents to enjoy throughout the day; from bingo to movement games. She also had daily games to challenge the residents memory. Because of the caring environment, the residents seemed to care about one another too. This place is top notch! I can’t personally state how the meals were as I didn’t dine with my aunt but she always shared with me her meals were good! Thank you for the dignity, care and love your organization generously gives out.

The staff is friendly, courteous and professional. My mother-in-law is happy there and she tells us all the time that we did good finding the Oaks at Old Salem Rd, that she can’t find a thing to complain about. That’s about the best recommendation for this facility. The residents there are nice and welcoming.

I have had my mom here for over a year. The staff and the level if care is outstanding. The social director is completely involved and stays engaged with the day to day activities. The level of confidence that my mother is In good hands afforded my wife and I to take a trip to Spain. The facility it's self is well cared for. The grounds are kept pristine. Of all the places we investigate in the county, this, The Oaks at Salem road received our family and after a year, it could not have been a better choice. Thanks guys, job well done.

I posted my review some time ago but felt I needed to update it. My sister was discharged recently but only due to personal family reasons. The Oaks at Salem Road is a wonderful facility that treats their residents with respect and kindness. The staff is excellent and provides great care and fun activities. My sister loved it there and will always have the best memories of her stay. Its can be a difficult decision to place a loved on a facility but The Oaks at Salem Road make it an easy transition and Happy stay for your loved one. My sister is a high functioning special needs individual who can not be alone overnight or prepare her own meals. I was excited to find that Morningside Assisted Living offers respite care and she has had two one week stays there. The staff is professional, caring and she is always happy there. I would highly recommend Morningside for any member of your family. We will definitely continue to use them for our family's needs.

One of the things that sets Morningside of Beaufort apart from the rest is definitely their team longevity. I’ve known the Executive Director, Tammy Siegner for a long time and she has worked there for 14 years. I know that when I begin seeking Assisted Living for my mother, I will choose Morningside. The food is wonderful, the staff are generous, and I feel like part of the family. Don’t be afraid to visit — they take the pressure off and make everything easy!
