The Retreat At Alameda

The Retreat at Alameda is an independent living, assisted living, and memory care community located in North Phoenix, Arizona, near the scenic Sonoran Foothills. The community offers multiple care levels within one location, allowing residents to age in place with familiar neighbors and staff as their needs change.

Residents enjoy chef-prepared meals with more than ten choices at each sitting, served three times daily from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, along with a bistro stocked with coffee and pastries throughout the day. The community offers 40 to 50 on- and off-site activities each week, coordinated by a full-time concierge. All residents receive weekly housekeeping, same-day maintenance responses, and charming apartments designed for seniors with month-by-month contracts.

Assisted living at The Retreat at Alameda provides support with daily tasks while maintaining independence and connection to home. Custom levels of support are available, and all residents receive a 24-hour emergency response pendant and on-call personal care.

Memory care follows the community's Apollo Program, a signature approach that focuses on the person rather than the diagnosis. The program is built on three pillars—Education, Engagement, and Environment—with specialized dementia training for staff, family partnerships to incorporate residents' personal histories and meaningful activities, and an environment designed for safety, spontaneity, purpose, and connection.

The community is situated in North Phoenix near the Sonoran Preserve, major hospitals, and shopping and dining options. Community vehicles are available for scheduled medical visits and group outings, and third-party transportation can be arranged as needed. The location offers convenient highway access for family visits from throughout the Phoenix Valley.
