My name is Joe Jenkins, my mother, Ellen Mayton was a resident for almost 2 years at the Lipton House, The decision for a love one to enter a care facility is something that’s both emotionally and physically draining. From the first time I entered the Lipton House I still laugh when I tell people it was the smell that captured my attention. iIt smelled like my grandmothers home , fresh food aroma, people moving around, and people interacting with all the residents. My mothers’s care was superb. The staff was always attentive. Ilene has gone above and beyond to pick the best people for this type of care. My only regret that I have , is that I did not find the Lipton House earlier in my mothers need for care

The Lipton House is the kind of home that a good private group home should be--A few patients receiving care and close attention by a professional staff. However, this does not begin to describe this facility. You will be overwhelmed by the kindness of the caring staff who will always exceed your expectations. It is owned and managed expertly by Ilene Lipton, who is able to navigate the many roads that nursing care can involve. In other words, she will help solve problems that you did not even know you would have in this journey--with equipment rental, therapy, or hospice services. I recommend that you visit and tour this home to see the truth of my words for yourself. Not only is this the best home you could pick for your loved one; it's the one you would pick for yourself.
