I moved to Aviva at the beginning of May, and in just under four months, it has truly changed my life. Everyone here is so warm and friendly, and I’ve made countless new friends. My health has improved significantly simply from attending the workout classes and using the gym. I truly feel that I’ve found a new family, and I’m blessed to call Aviva my home.<br><br>I want to add that the 2- 1 star reviews do not seem to fit at all. I believe they were likely intended for a different facility. The executive director's name is Jennifer not Lauren.

I love it here! I love the location and the building is beautiful like I am in a 5 star hotel. I love the residents and the friends I’ve made here. The activities here keep me busy and are always fun. I love Brea and Jenn when they lead exercise class in the mornings! I think Jennifer the new Executive Director Is TERRIFIC and her communication with the residents is excellent and she takes action! Love living at Aviva!

Since moving to Aviva Pembroke in October 2025, I’ve experienced a remarkable transformation in my life. Before arriving, I struggled with deep depression, but the warmth and support from both residents and staff quickly made me feel embraced and valued, as if I had found a second family. Their willingness to go above and beyond for any request—no matter how big or small—truly sets Aviva Pembroke apart. The genuine compassion from everyone, including the maintenance, dining, housekeeping, and concierge teams, has been a constant source of comfort. Whenever maintenance issues arise, they are resolved swiftly and efficiently, reflecting the staff’s dedication.<br><br>While there are a few established social groups, they remain open and welcoming, always ready for friendly conversation. My two-bedroom, two-bathroom unit offers ample space and cleanliness, making it a place I am genuinely happy to call home. Although I live in the independent units and cannot speak for assisted living or memory care, I have observed that everyone here benefits from the supportive environment.<br><br>The community’s location at Town Center is another significant advantage, with countless shops, restaurants, and cultural venues easily accessible on foot. For those who no longer drive, transportation services to medical appointments are invaluable. There is always something happening, from engaging events and educational sessions to outings that include dining, shopping, and attending performances at the Sandler Center.<br><br>Previously, communication was somewhat inconsistent, but since the arrival of our new Executive Director, residents now receive weekly updates every Friday, which has greatly improved transparency and engagement. Living at Aviva Pembroke has been a true joy, and I look forward each morning to connecting with the wonderful people who contribute to this vibrant and caring community.

My husband Jack and I have had the privilege of living here at Aviva for the past year ! We've enjoyed everyday and appreciate the wonderful , kind and caring staff ! It’s a friendly, fun place to live !

Great place to stash a loved one if you never want contact, or if they are evading a warrant. I tried calling a resident, but their cell phone inbox was full. So I called the main phone number and that woman said she had "no way" of taking a message that I had called. After some insistance, she did offer to transfer me to the nurses station which she did. Guess what? No answer there: their mailbox was full.
