If your loved one is going in for after stroke care, do not go to this place!!! my poor mother was there for over a year, Her room was disgusting, I really don’t think they did anything to help my mother in anyway. It seemed great at the beginning but overtime it got worse, so did my mother. They ended up stopping physical therapy with my mother even though she needed it. No one ever told me why or what reason why they stopped it and if they stopped it because she was getting worse than they should’ve said something and sent her somewhere else. Multiple of my mom’s friends would visit her and come back to me and complain about how they were treating her there. There was a time where apparently someone didn’t want to feed my mom dinner because it was 7 PM and they were clocking out. So my mom‘s friend took extra time out of her day to feed my mother that day. So many of her friends would come to me and complain. Over the time of the year, my mother got worse, and honestly if they were actually paying attention they would have known she was having more strokes. ( and yes, I could tell because I’ve watched my mom have multiple strokes before and was able bounce back, no problem) I wish that I could go back in time and not pick this place. There were only two employees that actually cared for my mom and actually spent time with her. I appreciate them a lot. This place is not the place for stroke care!!

I am a temporary resident here @ Laurels of Milford. I've been treated with dignity and respect from EVERY employee. You can't ask for a better skilled nursing facility. May God Bless all who enter here!

PLEASE DISREGARD 1ST REVIEW AND SEE MY REVISED REVIEW BELOW<br>I was frustrated with things when our dad was sent to The Laurels and did not give a fair review.<br>The staff has been nothing but KIND and Accomodating to our father.<br>He was moved to a private room per our request the very next day. Since then new blinds have been installed and some painting going on. We are very pleased with the Therapy Team occupational and physical, had a conference call and all questions answered. We need him a little closer to us is the only reason he may be transferred.<br>Thank you
