I absolutely loved this facility. Got a tour of the facility and it all seems so lovely. The staff is so friendly especially the lady at the front desk.

Lakeside rescued me and my wife as life became more complicated. Betty’s Alzheimer’s moved on to a point where I could no longer take care of her. I watched her receive care in the last 6 months. The people are particularly caring. The entire staff makes Betty’s life better. My thanks and love.

The Lakeside at Amelia has been a great place for my Dad. We started in the independent living area and have progressed to the assisted living side. Debbie T. assisted us when we determined he needed more services and provided an extremely smooth transition. The first day in the dining room on the Assisted side Dad was greeted by a server who knew him from the independent side. She was pointing out residents who he could dine with. Residents who also transitioned, providing comfort and familiarity to all. Tonya the Activity Director found out my Dad doesn't drink. Now, during Happy Hour she has made diet coke available so that he can feel comfortable participating. All the staff has been accommodating, receptive, communicative and helpful. It was a good move !
