The facility is beautiful, staff is there but no helpful if you need assisted living. The facility would make a great 55 and over community. My mom started in independent living, she had health issues, where camera is highly useful but are not allowed in the facility. When mom was moved into the ALF there, no help was provided. If it was more than stand by assist it was not happening. The DON and management promised consistent checks, but they did not happen. Mom had multiple falls in a week once in ALF, in her room and in common spaces. The staff and management were told that mom needed someone to walk with her. Mom had missed meal due to falls and was never checked or helped to get ready for breakfast and when meals were missed, no food was offered because the "kitchen is closed". Mom came back of the ER, no staff came to receive her or make sure she was settled in her room... hours passed, we finally had to call them to her room to ask why. When emailing staff and management asking for an action plan to right the situation, emails were never answered. If your loved one needs any form of assistance this is not the facility for you. beautiful not functional.
