Beautiful building, super staff, and amazing audience at our Thursday performance at The Birches at Concord in Concord, NH. Special thanks to Lynne Dionne, CDP - Programming Director and Denise with Activites. Denise encouraged the residents Peter and Maureen to be our HUMAN DUMMY volunteers. Their antics with the cowbell and tambourine were priceless!

Excellent facility for memory care family members. This is obviously an extremely difficult decision to make. Even pulling in overnight nursing and additional staffing in home reaches a point where you can no longer keep someone with memory issues safe. Cameras, alarms on doors, grip handles and ramps, elevated toilets, 3 shifts of staff coming in 7 days a week. We tried that, and staffing is inconsistent when going that route. To place your loved one in someone else's care when you can no longer look after them safely is a brutal decision point. This is one of the top facilities in the state. The staff does care. It's not ideal, but that's more because you have to entrust the care of your loved one to someone else. And that's a very hard decision. You'll know when you have crossed that bridge. If you're reading this, you have my sincerest compassion and empathy. You're not alone. Tour this facility and others before you make your decision as it's a big leap and it is not inexpensive. Although financially, it's less than pulling in overnight nursing and cobbling together around the clock care in home. Hope this helps!

My Mom had a comfortable and restful experience at The Birches during her final months of life. It is not inexpensive but it is good value for the service that is provided.
