I could write pages and still not be able to aptly express how grateful I am for Granite Ledges… My mom came here as a resident of the assisted living. When my sister and I toured the facility we were amazed at how homey it felt - not at all a bleak nursing home - think more nice hotel. Under the attentive eyes of the staff we soon realized that Mom needed to be in the memory care unit and the staff moved everything in her apartment (her own furniture from her house) into her new room. Immediately Mom was much more relaxed and she loves being there. The food is great; there are constant activities geared towards memory loss; the staff take the residents off site for meals and shopping excursions; live musicians come to play at least once a week; and they have an enclosed courtyard for relaxing and gardening. Most importantly - my mother is safe and I’m confident she is getting the best care around.

I will also say that not only has everyone been wonderful with my mother but wonderful with my sister and I and our families. If we have questions or concerns - and there were many at first - we have any number of ways to communicate with staff including personal cell phone numbers. We often refer to our “Granite Ledges family” and it is a safe and caring place for the whole family.

My 93 yo father was a resident at Granite Ledges and the experience could not have been better. The staff is warm and professional and highly attentive while encouraging independence. I live out of state and communication was excellent - everyone was responsive, clear and supportive. It made a huge difference as I transitioned my father from a difficult situation. The food and range of activities are impressive and flexible. I highly recommend GL for the happiness and health they gave my father and the peace of mind they gave me.

I recently visited my 89 yr old aunt at her new home/apt at Granite Ledges.. It was so heartwarming to see how happy she was.. (She had been very adamant about staying in her own home.) She absolutely loves Granite Ledges. She tells me she has a new social life and is sleeping and eating so well... She has a new glow for sure.. Thank you to Granite Ledges for putting that big carefree smile on her face!!
