Really, really responsive and helpful staff in navigating this process for a loved one and trying to find the right facility in the Terrabella family. Area Director Adam Sanders was particularly helpful and easy to contact. Trust me. These are the people you want to deal with.

My mom is in the Memory Care unit of this facility. Memory Care is very challenging which me and my brother understands. The girls doing an amazing job, taking care of Mom and making sure they communicate with me. The Memory Care representative I believe her name is terika does an amazing job. She does activities with them, she communicates, and has a heart of gold. She doesn’t know the days that we are coming, but when we do, she’s always attentive to mom. Even though my mom is on hospice care , The girls still makes sure she’s taken care of along with the other residents . There has been a positive shift that has happened in Memory Care within the last few weeks. I’m excited for the things to come

My mom has been a resident at TerraBella Thornblade for three years and has been in memory care for the past year. We originally chose the community because of the friendly and caring atmosphere. Like any organization, there have been seasons of change and times when things weren’t at their best, but I have seen tremendous improvement under the current leadership, and I am grateful for the positive changes that have been made.<br><br>While the memory care caregivers are instrumental in my mom’s daily life and provide exceptional care, what has also touched me is the love and kindness shown to her that extends far beyond the memory care neighborhood. There are so many others throughout the community, including members of the kitchen staff and caregivers who may occasionally work in memory care, who will stop by simply to say hello and check on her. It is evident that she is known as a person, not just a resident, and she is consistently treated with kindness, dignity, and genuine love and respect.<br><br>There are too many wonderful team members to name, but Anita was a tremendous blessing during my mom’s time in assisted living, and I honestly don’t know what I would do without Terica and Mackenzie. They communicate with me regularly, answer my questions, share happy moments my mom is experiencing, and make me feel connected even when I can’t be there. Those little updates mean more than they probably realize. Just as importantly, they have embraced me as family as well. Throughout this journey, I have felt loved, supported, and genuinely cared for by so many members of the TerraBella team.<br><br>I also want to recognize Kayla, the Executive Director, whose leadership has brought significant positive change. Her communication with families, openness to feedback, and willingness to continually improve have made a tremendous difference. Ashley, the nurse on staff, has also been invaluable. Her experience in geriatric care and her ability to bridge communication between families and caregivers provide tremendous peace of mind.<br><br>The community is clean and well maintained, and I have seen a renewed focus on activities and resident engagement. More importantly, I have seen an increased effort to ensure residents are happy, involved, and treated with compassion and respect. The right people have been put in the right seats, and it is evident that residents come first.<br><br>As a daughter, one of the greatest gifts TerraBella gives me is peace of mind. If I am traveling or unable to visit for a few days, I know my mom is safe, loved, hugged, and cared for. That allows me to continue living the life I am meant to live without constant worry.<br><br>Memory care is not easy work. It is physically, emotionally, and mentally demanding, and I believe families should recognize and support those who dedicate themselves to caring for our loved ones. That does not mean expectations for care should be lowered. Rather, it means acknowledging the extraordinary work these caregivers do each day. Many of them have truly been angels in my life.<br><br>For families considering TerraBella Thornblade, I would absolutely recommend them. What sets this community apart is the sense of family and community among the caregivers, leadership, residents, and families. That sense of connection and knowing your loved one is in good hands is something you simply cannot put a price on.

The residents at Terra Bella Thornblade have so much fun on their activity days. My daughter absolutely loves to do special things for them. Our local DBE group have been able to do a few small tea parties for the residents. It’s has been so much fun watching her spread joy and love to them all.
