We were happy with the level of care my mother-in-law received during her stay at Clermont Park Rehab Center. The staff were attentive and the food was so good that she, a hesitant eater, consumed every meal. The facility was clean throughout her stay. Activities were plentiful and relevant. A shout-out to Kieara(sp?), who found another patient that my mother-in-law could relate to, and sat them together for meals. This was quite intuitive. It was a huge contributor to my mother-in-law's success with rehab, as it touched on the needs of her soul. Also, thanks to Ruth Mayberry for working with us to extend her stay another few days when unforeseen medical setbacks arose. The only glitches we encountered were with communication re medical changes, medication changes and discharge instructions. As a result, my mother-in-law was sent out with no meds. Despite those issues, I would have her go to Clermont Park again, should the need arise.

On the east side of the building is the rehab facility not to be confused with the assisted living apartments that occupy the main structure. My 88 year old Parkinson’s husband has been here twice in 6 months for rehab, first after a hip fracture, then recovering from pneumonia. I have spent many days here with him since he has very limited vision, poor hearing and dementia and can’t get out of a chair without help or even how to ask for it. The concierge person is cheerful and helpful. The therapy staff is really great. My husband mostly likes the food especially the dessert cakes. If you press the red button to ask for help it can take from 3 to 20+ minutes for response which seems low tech and slow after the hospital but must be typical in the underpaid industry. Be sure to go over the medications your person is taking and all is correct. I appreciated the minimal use of disposable senior sanitary products that filled the garbage cans in the hospital. The dinner napkins are cloth, real dinnerware. Laundered clothes arrived everyday. The grounds are well kept with a quiet courtyard garden where you may occasionally get to meet a dog. Not being religious we appreciated that as a Christian company we never heard about Jesus but could have attended one of the numerous weekly events many of which were secular.

We were most inspired by the exceptional dedication of the kitchen staff, chefs and waiters, who consistently deliver excellent service with unwavering passion and professionalism. Their tireless efforts create a truly welcoming atmosphere, making every breakfast and lunch a moving experience. Important Note! When considering care options for your loved one, it is worth weighing the financial implications of nursing home care versus the benefits of providing personalized care at home, where daily medical care can be focused on their well-being. Your love and care are truly priceless. The best place in the world is home!❤️🙏🏾
