⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Stoddard Baptist Nursing truly a hidden gem in Washington, DC, with so much history and character. The community is well-maintained, welcoming, and has a unique charm that sets it apart. A special thank you to Nichole Merriel, the Director of Admissions. She is an angel on earth and goes above and beyond to help residents and families. Her kindness, professionalism, and genuine care make all the difference. She takes the time to answer questions, provide support, and ensure everyone feels valued and respected. They are doing an excellent job of taking care of my father

My first time walking in Stoddard was a very bad experience. They did not want to change my mother . Mr.Podust Head of nursing is unprofessional ,The case worker Mrs. Henry she doesn't care , I have talked to Mrs. Savoy the administaror ,Jessica Jones it's the same old song and dance no results . No results, I recently went to see my mother there was a problem with her being change as always.I called the state and the ambusmens office.Mr. Produst was so unprofessional he called my Aunt and started family drama. Terrible do not put your family in there you will regret it . Staff is terrible. These people better realize you going to get old one of these days . Treat people the way you want to be treated. God is looking at everything and all of us .

I am writing this note to let Stoddard know how much I appreciate the care they give my love one. My rating is a 4 plus some. So I’m giving them 5 stars. My mom is 95 years old and has been with Stoddard for more than 5 years. First let me say no place is perfect and neither is Stoddard. Yet in their perfect imperfection way they are there for me and mom. It has been proven during this most trying times when I have to look at mom through a glass window or see and hear her voice on Google duo. It’s the inflection in her voice when I hear her say ‘dear’ to me or her care giver, it is the coloring in her cheeks, and the feisty ness in her voice. It is the reassuring conversations with the Unit Assistant, the Head Nurse, staff nurses and technicians, the security guards, and other medical professionals and housekeeping. It is the reassuring conversations with social services, physical and recreational therapy who answer my most urgent and often demanding questions. It is the virtual conversations and window conversations that assure me that mom has not lost her spunk. Not a perfect place, but the right place for my mom. Yes there are times when we butt heads, but all in all I want to Thank you Stoddard for caring for my mom.

Very dissatisfied with this place. My mother went here when released from hospital for rehabilitation. The first day there they lost her hearing aide and acted like it was mother's fault. She is 94 and senile. Staff was actually very nice but way overworked. There was one nurse on the floor for almost 60 patients. He kept apologizing saying it was just him and a couple of Nurses Aides who were pleasant but not particularly competent and stretched way to thin. They seemed to just line the residents up in wheelchairs in the day room and leave the TV on all day. No real activities. The therapists came around regularly but did the bare minimum. Seemed to be just checking the box that they showed up and did the therapy but did not really extend much effort with the patients. I could not get my mother out of there fast enough.
