I toured this facility yesterday and the people where so nice and helpful. The facility was clean and smelled clean and my dad will be happy to make this his new home. Joanna was super nice, very professional and so helpful with all questions. We toured 5 facilities this week and this was the best one.

I can’t say enough good things about this long-term care facility. The staff is compassionate, attentive, and truly treats every resident with dignity and respect. From the nurses and CNAs to the therapists, housekeeping, and dietary staff, everyone works together to create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. The communication with families has been excellent, and it’s clear that the residents’ health, comfort, and happiness are the top priorities. The staff goes above and beyond to provide personalized care while making residents feel valued and at home. If you’re looking for a nursing home that genuinely cares about its residents and provides high-quality long-term care, I would highly recommend this facility.

My sister was a resident here. She was mentally challenged. Like any facility there are good nurses and bad nurses. Good aids and bad aids. Unfortunately the percentage of bad Nurses and bad Med techs far exceeded the good, At this facility. They were rude if you walked up to the desk to speak to them and they were speaking to another employee, or on their phone. You waited. I had insisted on a camera in the room, they finally made provisions for my sister to have a camera in her room. But it was dealt with by the nursing staff as if it was a violation of their privacy, rather than the previous nursing homes had looked at it, as a benefit to the nurses to see that they were providing quality care to the patients. Probably because these nurses/med techs weren’t. They had specific directions from hospice nurses in the care plan for her medication, but rather than offering it in the manner they were supposed to, they simply said “do you want this?” It was in a simple syringe to inject in her mouth.it was supposed to be provided to her with pudding or ice cream. The medicine had a repulsive taste. When I told them they needed to go ahead and give her the medicine but they needed to put it in pudding or applesauce or ice cream, which I had provided in the top drawer (all but the ice cream) They refused to do it. Even though I was the POA for my sister, they claimed I had no authority. That was two nights before she died she had no medicine for the pain. I went home and immediately looked up the POA’s rights for a patient in a nursing home (in the state of Missouri) and I did indeed have the right to tell them to give her the medicine. It made no difference to them, next day was the same fight. When the group of bad nurses left for the day, the last man standing did give her, her morphine. This is just a small sampling. The most despicable. If your loved one is on hospice, and part of their testimony to you is, “your loved one will have nothing but comfort”, don’t believe it. At least not from this nursing home.
