My husband went into the rehabilitation section. The therapists were great! Staff was friendly but a few who were not as hard working as others. I was there every day so saw how hard working most of the staff was. I personally think there should be more than 1 CNA on when there are 7 or 8 patients because if they were busy assisting a patient it could take awhile for them to answer call button. The food was excellent and if you did not like a meal you could order a different one. Housekeeping was wonderful and did not just clean but stopped to talk to my husband and help the CNA if they were busy by making beds. I liked that rehabilitation clients were invited upstairs (nursing home) for activities like bingo, movies, singing. It is very clean and decorated nicely. Cheerful atmosphere and like small family feel. Residents upstairs were always dressed and up and not just laying in their beds. Was it perfect, no! but compared to other places I visited it was steps above. As any place, you need to be present and engaged. Would recommend for the rehabilitation section and from what I have seen when in nursing home section I would recommend that too.

I have my mother and mother in law here and we love it! There are times where I have to ask them to do stuff or I might do something for them that I want extra BUT never have I seen people sleeping or smoking pit or anything! The place does NOT smell and is clean! I also have not found a mean worker yet! They crack jokes with my moms and always try to make them smile!

Staff sleep on 3rd shift. Residents are on the floor or fall out of bed because of lack of rounds. Always double briefed which causes skin breakdown, and pressure ulcers. 3rd shift Staff smoke pot while on break then come back and play on their phone for hours. Briefs in the morning weigh 15 pounds because of all the urine and a complete bed change on those who are not mentally coherent. Watched a nurse change a catheter with dirty gloves on. Never put sterile gloves on, she tossed them in the trash. If you don't want your loved one taken care of, send them here. That's exactly what will happen. Good luck for those who do go there, you're going to need it!

Always smells like urine. Nine times out of ten phone not answered, have to ring and ring bell to get in. Barely staffed. I’ve seen much better environments at dog boarding facilities and they didn’t carry the heavy urine stench that takes your breath away when you enter. After visiting I can’t wait to get home and shower. Only sit outside when visiting.
