Our experience with Spring Arbor's memory care community has been wonderful. The facility is always clean, and the staff are always kind and compassionate with Mom and her family and friends. They go above and beyond! While my mom's cognitive decline has continued, she has actually gained physical strength since moving there, which has been encouraging to see. The adjustment was difficult for both her and our family, but the staff at Spring Arbor knew exactly how to help. They reassured us that everything would be okay and reminded us that it would simply take time for everyone to adjust and guided us on how to help Mom with the transition. We especially appreciate their communication. Whenever there was a question or concern about Mom, they contacted us promptly. They also welcomed my frequent calls to check on her, and I always felt informed and supported. That level of communication gave our family tremendous peace of mind. The building itself is so pretty and the rooms are a perfect size. We provided the furniture for Mom’s room and she has a double bed, two recliners along with her dresser and nightstand. We decorated her room as close to her home as we could for familiarity. I have to say the outside patio and screened porches provide lovely spaces for Mom to relax and enjoy the outdoors, our favorite space. We are grateful for the care, compassion, and professionalism the staff has shown my mom and our family. The decision and the move was very difficult mentally and physically but I know we made the right choice with Spring Arbor and are so thankful for their care and support!
