My mother has been in Sofia's Home in Wilsonville since December of 2017. What I have noticed every time I visit is the care and concern of each of the caregivers. My mother is diabetic and needs a low sugar, low salt and lactose free diet. Meals are prepared by the staff taking care to follow the individual needs of each resident. My mom is also very anxious and needs to know that someone will be there for her when she calls. They go out of their way to do special things for each resident such as birthday parties and holiday celebrations. My mom told me that Jackie gives her foot massages to help the swelling in her feet and legs and to just help my mom relax. I am totally confident that my mom is safe and well cared for at Sofia's. She can no longer walk and feels safe in transferring from her bed to her wheel chair and from the wheelchair to her recliner in the living room with the use of a gait belt and a safety pole. Sofia's has a warm, cozy and comfortable home atmosphere. The entire staff, Jackie, Elizabeth, Maryanne, Natalya and Bill are a wonderful, caring team who work together to make Sofia's Home the best choice place I could have made to care for my mother.

I cannot say enough about Sophia's home! My mother has been a resident for the past 5 years and has received outstanding care. The owners and manager are extremely knowledgeable about medical and nursing care and specifically geriatric care. When I first visited I thought about the space in her room but soon realized that I could bring everything meaningful to her and the rest was just stuff. That is always tough making those downsizing decisions. What we gained was a family. I feel that my mom is part of a family and I feel included as well. MaryAnn, the manager is exceptional and my mom is so attached to her. Natalya and Mike, the owners are very involved and present. Martha is so caring and compassionate and genuinely loves the residents. She is also an outstanding cook! Malika started recently and lives on site. Moving my mom to Sophia's Home was a great decision.

Exceptional care! What matters most at Sofia's Home is the care, compassion and genuine intention that is the heart of everyone at Sofia's Home. I have visited many homes in the area; some are considered elaborate but what makes Sofia's special is the level of care and service provided by Natalya and her staff. As a nurse practitioner, Natalya is very much aware of the complexities and challenges of the geriatric client. Ranging from dementia/Alzheimer's care, chronic heart and cardiovascular conditions, diabetes, and decline in mobility, the expertise and knowledge Natalya possess is demonstrated in the training she provides to all of her caregivers. In addition to the care, Natalya has a full-time activities coordinator, Martha, that arranges engaging and life enriching activities individually designed to promote quality of life. Kudos to everyone and Sofia's Home!

I've never seen a foster home that is more qualified than, Sophia's Home, to take care of grandma's and grandpa's out there. I really feel that they are having their needs met and they are living a safe and healthy lifestyle. This includes doing things they enjoy, getting help with activitys of daily living, and interacting socially during a number of occasions.

Sofia’s Home is amazing! The staff treats the clients with respect and provides excellent care. The hospitality is a plus as the food is healthy and delicious. Unlike other care facilities I am aware of, Sofia’s prepares home cooked meals as opposed to canned or other processed foods. Sofia’s is well maintained, clean and comfortable and everyone seems to get a long. I would recommend this place to others who need a warm, welcoming place to call home.
